LiftOff brings you an evolution of monstrous proportions, the Kong. Bringing the successful design of the Silverback up to an M core size has lead to some impressive features and improvements. Depending on pilot skills the Kong can handle 3kt of cargo off of Alioth. Also equipped with maneuvering thrusters for easy adjustments when landing at space stations. On top of that it has enough seating for 20 people and is warp capable for those group outings. The large top deck can also be used to dock small and extra small ships comfortably. Kong is also available in 3 upgraded models: *Upgraded models will be available at a later date* Kong Blitz - All atmo engines are swapped out for Advanced(Maneuver or Military) and 2 of the space XLs are swapped to Advanced Maneuvers while the other 2 are swapped to Advanced Military. This gives you much better fuel economy and lighter weight, in exchange for slightly less lift. c) Uncommon Military/Freight atmo (50%/50%) and Advanced Freight Space engines. This is to make entry level to this ship more affordable to build. ... but no need to wait for me, you are free to upgrade this ship as you like. Modifications since beta: I've added double the atmo engines, added a few Space Engine Ls, and a bunch of aileron Ms. I also moved space and added atmo radar to the front where they're not blocked. I also added a few other tweaks like adding an extra atmo fuel tank for the new engines, a Resurrection node in the PvP room, a VR station in one of the bedrooms, and more. With the default Advanced Military version, I've personally escaped atmo with 5kT onboard. I have L5 talents for thrust and L4 for all other flight metrics. It'll lift more with maxed talents when you get them! We are purposely keeping the price quite high because this ship will be exclusive. A head-turner at markets, a powerful and elegant design, a sleek and sporty aesthetic: that is the Harpy Type C! The Harpy is a S-core shuttle and small-scale hauler for up to 400 tons safely off Alioth. But its main selling point is her sleek, aerodynamic design, which allows her to fly at comfortably fast speeds without the fear of burning up in atmosphere. 1200km/h travel at 2600m altitude on Alioth is a comfortable cruise speed for this little beast, while achieving an overall top-speed of 1412km/h. The Harpy's frame is mainly built out of aluminium, making this sporty work horse light as a feather at 168tons dry weight, so that all her power can go towards lifting the real weight in her 1x L-sized cargo container, which may transport 166kL or 400 tons of cargo. The ship is accelerated by 2x rear-mounted Large Military Atmospheric Engine, 2x diagonally-mounted Medium Basic Atmospheric Engine, aswell as 4x Medium Military Space Engine and 2x Medium Basic Space Engine. Her warp drive consumes about 23 (+ additional from cargo) warp cells per jump from Alioth to Lacobus (or about 500 su), thus making it an efficient small and fast grocery hauler with interplanetary capabilities.
