Many times the design for a ship doesn't need to be complicated to be effective and efficient! The Broken Arrow utilizes a sleek traditional shape and clever positioning for elements resulting in an impressive performance for the ship size. 5 small containers provide an excellent hauling capacity (space to add 2 more for 7 total) - she'll carry more than double her own weight in cargo with power to spare and low cost parts mean this ship won't break the bank if you happen to ding into anything during your adventures. FAST- because the weight is low this ship will do around 50k depending on skills and cargo. LOW COST- Uses basic engines all around (1L Atmo, 4M Space) keep the maintenance and fuel extremely low. This was my 'day one' ship, and still preferred daily choice. MISSION RUNNER SPECIALIST: This setup makes a fantastic mission runner ship for the 'Aileron Parts 180k' run. (Round Trip in 9 Min) . With a few pilot skills this missile can climb straight to space at 90 deg from standstill... is very lightweight so will stop on the dime or pull out of dives very easily. Use the 'Boom and Zoom' technique to loop down onto the mission turn-in before bouncing back up into space. The Prospector is your perfect jumping off point for asteroid mining operations, cheap to start but with expandable storage capacity and high thrust to weight ratio, even when loaded and/or with early day skills - now offered completely FREE ! Use a static DSAT to find you target asteroid, then quickly burn across the system to grab that all important ore! The original Prospector ship served our early members well in hauling and market running, but offered little upgrade path. The new Prospector gives players multiple options in both ship upgrades and career paths, with space to exchange main storage to a L container and to upgrade your flight options with a warp drive. All stats are given with no placement and day 1 pilot talents - stats will only improve with talent training.

The Dragonfly is the result of my first 3 days into Dual Universe. She was designed to lift me off of Haven and to Alioth. Boy, had I known there was rent to be paid, I might have stayed a bit longer. Anyways, the Dragonfly is a reliable and practical ship, biggest I could make her with XS size. She is a hybrid, easily gets you to space and does the Haven-Alioth back and forth trip multiple times before running out of juice. The Dragonfly also comes with a small interior and can be Upped with additional cargo whenever necessary. She is built smart, with maximum maneuverability and ideal weight distribution in mind. And on top of all that, she is pretty. You should be able to build her without the need to purchase anything with an assembly line M and by disassembling the pilot outpost starter base. FiRun has been my daily driver after 1.1 update and bots removal. It is almost non profitable to haul huge amounts of ore from fields to markets. Therefore demand of these lightweigth "small/medium" haulers has increased. FiRun idea is to haul max 42kl ores from nearby (less that 100km) fields to your base when needed with lowest possible fuel usage (freigh engines, no vtol, no heavy space equipment). If your fields are further, maybe space capable ship is your choise then (faster). Naturally you can use FiRun for all things you do in atmo planets, personal carrier, market runner etc. Ship carries easily/safely full load of baux/coal/quartz or 10-20kl hematite depending your skills. Ship flies well also with lvl0 skills. Numbers here given by skill lvl 3-4 pilot. Ship includes preinstalled scripts ArchHUD and DU-Locura-Storage-Info (modded by me to include weight warning system including lights in cockpit and top of the vessel). Weight warning limits can be adjusted, I like flying my ships without thinking is it safe with any load I might currently carry. FiRun is first and biggest ship I post of my small ships serie line, design is a bit same through this serie ships Plankton, Kirppu and FiRun.
