Dual Universe Creators

Getting my first creation out there. Tried to get close to the design from Serenity's Mule. Still trying to figure the nuances to ship building. Any and all pointers are most welcomed.

Final Space Industries' last instrument of war, Atlas is a capital grade gun ship that will not yield any district of space to anyone. Inspired by the Battletech and Mechwarrior Assault class heavy mech Atlas with its giant AC-20 cannon in the front of the ship. Built with current meta materials and layers to complete is lethal form. It comes in 2 loadouts, 20 Missiles or 8 Missiles and 16 Lasers for varied ammo capabilities. This ship was the APEX Predator of Beta and will still hold its own vs any hostile fleet as proven in final end of Beta public battle.

A design going back to early days of the Empire, Adrastus has remained a go to choice of many aspiring, if often impoverished young noblemen willing to prove themselves on battlefields of many. Adrastuses traditional gold, scandium-aluminum alloyed armor married to advanced shield generators offers surprising level of external protection for the ship of its size. It however comes at price of allegedly somewhat lacking reactor core containment ; snuffing out many promising noble houses before they had a chance to even begin. Many of you will know this ship from another well-known game. Since I've always been fascinated by this ship and I've always wanted to fly it, I decided to build it. Many hours have been invested in this ship and I can now say with a clear conscience that I am very satisfied with it and I am very happy to finally be able to offer you the Reclaimer. The Belovator is a lightweight shaftless space elevator that flies along a gravity line to transport your cargo and players into space. You can comfortably transport your assets from the planet surface to a space station without having to rely on an annoying AGG tower with an hour-long ascend or fiddly autopilot ships. Load up with cargo, select the target floor, wait, dock - unload! Belovator Octo: The Octo is our first attempt to break with the rule that an Elevator has to be a shoebox hidden away in a hole underground. It´s octagon shape is a refreshing alternative to the usual square. The carbon fiber materials used for the hull together with the custom landing pad (DRM-free, included in the purchase) make it a nice eyecatcher on your premises. It also features a custom forcefield configuration that has forcefields as ramps when it´s standing on the base pad and the regular flat bridges when it´s docked at the upper floors. - 1000 tonnes of cargo lift from the surface of Alioth without any piloting skills/talents - 4x Basic Container M - Advanced Maneuver, Freight and Military Engines - custom forcefield configuration - comes with static DRM-free S-core landing pad also suitable for S-core ships Stats are for unskilled pilots, cargo lift depends heavily on pilot skills. The lifting capability improves dramatically for a pilot with just lvl 2+ talents on atmo engines. The configuration of the elevator is done via Lua parameters and is limited to a few parameters to keep the complexity simple. Control of the elevator via touchscreen and/or HUD with very few buttons. ATTENTION: The game mechanics unfortunately do not allow for an octagonal shaft / dock in your spacestation, because it creates a rectangular hitbox around dynamic constructs. So the shaft / dock still has to be square. Fortunately the completely symmetrical octagon-shape of the Octo still makes for a pleasant appearance in a square dock.
