Introducing the Knox, a fast and aggressively stylish pocket bike. This sharp looking hover bike was inspired by the Aopoa Nox of Star Citizen and adapted for the mechanics of Dual Universe. The Knox was made as a pocketable atmospheric bike that could reach insane speeds and give the rider the thrill of piloting a highly agile craft. The Knox comes with 2 chair surfaces and a remote controller allowing you to pilot the craft with a passenger. Perfect for flying you around your mining hexes, to your neighbors base or race around with your friends. Equipped with 3 customizable S engines, you can tailor the bike to your preferences giving you full control of the speed, weight, fuel economy and brake force. This way handling can be tuned utilizing various engine configurations. Behind each engine exists a flat voxel to easily swap to your desired combination. Included in the design is a blank programming board giving you options to install a LUA script of your choice. The remote controller comes pre-installed with Arch HUD giving you the option of autopilot and a whole host of helpful features. The luminescent accent lines and metallic body panels can be coloured to your preference when buying tokens and are available in a range of colors. Suborbital Superspeeder Single-Seater - - - 5,000+ km/h at edge of atmosphere --------------------------------------------------- For reference, please also see "Anisoptera v1" and "Anisoptera v2" on this website (the previous versions). The Anisoptera v3 X1 (internal code name: "Fast and Furious") is the latest version of this famous dragonfly-alike designer speedboat. The original designs called for a fast boat that could fit many different types of ship hangars, thus the resulting concept was that of a very slender ship hull. That in return resulted in a low drag amount and therefore high possible speeds if powered adequatly. Overheating starts at 1,800 km/h, first damage at around 2,300 km/h. At the edge of the atmosphere, in suborbit, no damage and overheating, and speeds in excess of 5,000 km/h. The version 3 has the following improvements over V2: - even higher speed (same atmospheric 2,300 km/h as before but now beyond 5,000 km/h suborbit) - slightly increased wing lift capacity - more brake power And the best is: from the outside there is almost no difference! This is a basic spaceplane with: 1)Ability to carry 21kL (<100t I guess ) in Atmo, very useful for hauling missions. 2)Low sustention speed and good maneuverability 3)Good space autonomy (an hour at full thrust) 4)Bad atmospheric autonomy(relatively. Full thrust will give you 700 km/h and ~1SU of flight. Can be increased by increasing your height or lowering the speed) 5)Good brakes 6)Maneuver engines for parking (thrust forward and sideways). Those have a separate fuel tank, so if you run out of fuel, just land and pump out of here. Elements: Most of them are basic and can be crafted in your backpack (exceptions are: container hub, M atmo-engine, cockpit, ECU and some decorative materials like luminescent glass) HUD: I'm using Albatross custom HUD for it's simplicity and height managing options (useful for hauling... just hit Alt-3 and you can leave it flying forward at set height). Cons are fuel displays: 50% means that you have run out of fuel for main engines...And only maneuver engines are left. RDMS: didn't touch it at all. ALBA is my first Demeter Compatible M-Core Starship, with no obstructed brakes and retro engines - with a unique style inline with my other ships - this one goes for the "verticality" :) The ship has 10 Large Atmo Engines and a beefy XL Space Engine.
