Development Background: It was a cold November night at the annual Invictus exhibition when serendipity made the paths of the CEO of Serenity Shipyards cross with those of the main heads of Origin Jumpworks and Crusader Industries. Their company policies had calcified over time and drifted toward the same mistakes as the 21st century had witnessed; What once were pioneers of space ship development were now nothing more than shareholder pleasers. Though not as sleek or sophisticated as her Martian counterparts, the Truman-Class is famed for her sturdiness and reliability, serving as the immovable centre of a UNN Battlegroup through any manner of engagement. Using new and advanced heavy laser weapon systems, the standard Truman-Class may excel in most any situation within fleet engagements or solo missions across the system. Though her acceleration under full load of fuel and ammunition may not reach similar performances as other gunships might boast, the fact that her 6 XL engines are uncommon maneuver models mean she will be able to accelerate and re-align her vector fast enough to still be able to get into range of most any opponent. The same model ship that Luthen Rael prefers in Andor, the Fondor Haulcraft is a small-core hubrid hauler with warp drive. It has the equivalent of 1 1/2 Large containers of cargo space. It can lift around 450 to 600 tons off Alioth. Its meant to be a daily driver. Small enough to warp, large enough to carry a respectable load, and fast enough to get in and out quick. Notice the full detail interior as close to the show ship as I can manage. Round hallways! I build a lot of ships, but I really like this one and its my current daily driver.
