Many times the design for a ship doesn't need to be complicated to be effective and efficient! The Broken Arrow utilizes a sleek traditional shape and clever positioning for elements resulting in an impressive performance for the ship size. 5 small containers provide an excellent hauling capacity (space to add 2 more for 7 total) - she'll carry more than double her own weight in cargo with power to spare and low cost parts mean this ship won't break the bank if you happen to ding into anything during your adventures. FAST- because the weight is low this ship will do around 50k depending on skills and cargo. LOW COST- Uses basic engines all around (1L Atmo, 4M Space) keep the maintenance and fuel extremely low. This was my 'day one' ship, and still preferred daily choice. MISSION RUNNER SPECIALIST: This setup makes a fantastic mission runner ship for the 'Aileron Parts 180k' run. (Round Trip in 9 Min) . With a few pilot skills this missile can climb straight to space at 90 deg from standstill... is very lightweight so will stop on the dime or pull out of dives very easily. Use the 'Boom and Zoom' technique to loop down onto the mission turn-in before bouncing back up into space. Also makes a hilariously fun kamikaze ship for obvious reasons as well. *Ship Inspiration: One of those movies you watch about a hundred times as a kid, Broken Arrow (1996). Asp Hauler from Elite Dangerous, able to lift and do the 160k mission no problem at all with a run time of approximately an hour or so dependant on talents before needing to refill. it stays aloft with only 20 percent throttle. For when you are too tired or can't be arsed to haul your ores up to space every week after your calibration runs. Or just for when you need to bring stuff up to your space station, here is the Medusa Elevator, equiped with Yoari's Elevator script and comes with all it's perks. This creature was made with a small profile in mind and lands perfectly on a matching launch pad and docks nicely on a custom space platform (see my other statics, Kombat and Bogdan). It is not the strongest elevator but it was made to haul up all the ores you can pump up for a dense ore field in one week. Pluck done one of these elevators in the middle of your field, ride it down from space and do all the calibrations with your pocket rocket, delivering all the ores directly into the elevator. The base doubles as a tri-tile mining rig so those are already done. After you calibrated and picked up the last of the ores for the week, fold up your pocket rocket, jump in the seat of the elevator and let it take you back up to your space only hauler which is waiting on the deck of the Bogdan space dock. The Raven was originally built as a S core, with a low cross section to ensure performance was the best possible. Now moved to an M core, it retains all of its S core performance but adds the ability to dock XS and S ships to it, plus it gave the much needed room at the front of the core to finish the design in the way it was meant to be. The result is a ship that you'll find yourself using time and again, a real daily driver, with just the right blend of every day hauling ability, fuel efficiency and practicality. Lift: 11G of High-altitude lift means the cargo weight is really only limited by the amount you want to spend on engines (and can fit in the 4 L containers). With Advanced military engines close to 3KT is possible, depending on talents and pilot skill. Fuel: A L space tank and L Atmo tank are provided, with a M space tank included for some of the vertical boosters. There is a modest interior with room to make it your own and space at the front to place a warp drive.
