Ikarus Industries presents the medium core Minotaur. The Minotaur is equipped with 8 large basic atmo and 8 large uncommon military space engines. Has downward and strafe space thrust to help land on asteroids and space stations. There is a total of 2 large containers on a hub. Comes with fully developed interior which includes four bedrooms each with its own bathroom. Coffee maker, vending machine, common area and bridge. Tested with 1.2kt and was able to leave Alioth with Tier 4 put downs and pilot skill. Could probably do a little bit more. All stats are with tier 4 put downs with tier 5 atmo engine put down. In the process of moving, blueprints are available to Kosmos Exchange. Introducing the Desperatio by Czars Workshop. Listen, element only ships are the reason they get blown up. It's scientifically unproven even. Sure, you can fly around pew pew-ing with space glue holding your ship together but why? With voxels, If you win, you get to do it in style, and if you get blown up, you get to do it in style too. You want your enemies flying this so you'll have that pretty trophy and your enemies want you in this for their pretty trophy. Either way, voxels make life just a little bit better. Anyways, the Desperatio is a Meta current ship that sports 4 Advanced Precision Rails, Advanced Shield Gen, and Uncommon Freight L's for the power! with 19.6G of thrust and 31.7G of brake, you go where you want to go and fast....and with style! Frontal cross section of 40.4m2 is quite good with voxels and you'll still be hard to hit. Blueprint with Rare Rails/Shield and Advanced Freight also available. Deadgunner script is loaded on the seat and the remote. I think it's priced pretty well at 750k and am always willing to work out bulk deals. The blueprint is lvl 5 buffed on all the flight necessities. I can buff lvl 5 seat and radar capacity and lvl 4 on small rails/cannons/radar afterwards for free at my space station conveniently located 10km from the Tachyon Highway Mkt 6 beacon. Stats given for the basic engine version, advanced blueprint also available. I am no artist or shipmaker, this is just the culmination of continuous tinkering to my go-to method of getting around. My goal in this game has always just been to cruise around and explore, so the focus of the tinkering has been getting something that flies as well as possible, and I am pretty pleased with how it came out so I thought I would share. It is good for about 50t off of Alioth on the basic version depending on skills. Burn speed is up around 1850 so is pretty forgiving if you come back in to atmo a little hot. Container hub and engines centered on 0,0 so it stays balanced regardless of load. All medium engines so nice and fuel efficient. All a single honeycomb type so feel free to replace with your voxel of choice. Stats are listed for the "basic" engine version which uses pure carbon as the weight reference. Engines also easy to swap out, coordinates in the pictures, though it seems you need to pull the ailerons off to place the engines and put them back on when you are done. Whether you are brand new and looking to upgrade but not ready for the big large engine haulers, or have been around a while and just looking to try something different on the cheap, feel free to come by and check them out. It may not look pretty, but it get's your stuff done, and with grace you won't expect from this brute. It can haul up and over 2 kilotons of your stuff up to space from Alioth with a bit of a seasoned pilot, all in a neatly packed optimised XL container. It uses 8 large atmos engines to do that, I personally love the advanced maneuver versions but you could get more done with different if you prefer. It has enough brakes to safely land with your stuff but some caution is advised because it is not meant to bob up and down on it's boosters with 600 KL of hematite weighing down in it's belly. For your convenience it is equipped with a warp core, a resurrection node and a VR pod for when you feel a bit bored. Sweet bumper sticker. No toilet. Careful when flying empty, at full thrust it will incinerate itself into a crisp right after the engines warm up (2 seconds). To prevent accidental deaths and warranty returns, the ship comes equipped with Arch Hud and set to a max atmos speed of 1200 km/s. It's large fuel tanks can take you on a complete tour of Alioth and it's solar system without refueling. A separate container system can hold your warp cells, scraps for accidental scratches and a couple of litres of fuel. On top of all of that it comes with some handy conveniences like 60.000 lumen landing lights to see what you are doing on the surface when landed, if has two laser guidance beams that only come on during flight to save batteries and has all round navigation lights so no space-nub will accidentally rear-end you. Can be turned off for... I don't know. but you can. While heavier than the common Warp Shuttle, it has much greater lift capacity and maintains efficiency while allowing for a roomy control bridge. There is space and power to increase cargo capacity if desired but it was decided to stay with a 75% rule for ratings and handling. Can achieve 1500 in ATMO with skills and with out burning elements if traveling in a flat straight line. Once the war was done, the Star League decided to repurpose the famous Gunstar! After removing the deathblosom (sorry), they added a medium container and plenty of engines for a smooth, stable ride while maintaining the intimidating stance of her original design. Sporting 1 large atmo and four medium space engines, she’s got plenty of umph to get around. Good for local hauling and prospecting, she can carry 30+ tons out of Atmo with minimal piloting/tech skills.
