This is the first construct I designed in beta. (Almost) free blueprint with No DRM. That means you can deploy one copy, then create your own core blueprint to make as many more as you require. Dispenser at Hadron HQ Alioth ( ::pos{0,2,-21.7618,122.5465,114.3602} ) When placing, the opening at the base faces away and to your right, 45 degrees from straight ahead. Rotate so that corner faces you and the opening will be facing you. The concrete foundation is 7 voxels high and can be set down to accommodate most terrain on Alioth with minimal or no flattening.

The core itself sits on the floor of the build box, making placement easy, and cleanup a breeze. Quit wasting time at your mining units! Calibrate 3/4 of your mining units from one spot, harvest all of the surface ore from one spot, and find your mining station from from a kilometer away with the scale and light emitted from this laser! Everyone has a platform, now. Everyone's going to have a Thumper. (Currently equipped with Basic Mining Units -- if you want to upgrade your laser, message isyron#4015, bring 4 upgraded units, and he'll do the swap and give you the BP!)

This mining platform was designed to mine up to 4 ore types using L mining units. While the mining platform will default to one mining unit per T1 ore, this can easily be changed to mine different ore with upgraded mining units. To expand the number of mining units, just link to the additional units to the mining PB and to one of the containers. To modify the ore type, rename the container element and replace the ore with the new ores full name. Adding/modifying the mining units or containers will require the programing boards to be restarted. This is an early release version of the platform, so some of the items have been reduced or removed due to availability or cost. To further save on deployment cost, you can change the honeycomb type to fit your available ore type.
