Wanted something easy on the repairs and building costs, while still providing enough power to be viable in most situations. Result is the ORCA, a light weight ship on a S core. Comes equiped with 9 M containers for storage (so basically half a hub full of L containers), L fuel tanks (M for rockets), warp drive and everything you could need in a ship: VR, res pod, a bunch of scripts and various screen infos. Cargo capacity will vary alot depending on engines tier, handling talents and pilot talents. With all those maxed and using rockets, it should be able to carry up to 2kt out of 1g gravity. More reasonably, with basic engines and low handling / pilot talents, it will start at 300tons. Basic engines will probably cap near 500tons. Keep in mind it was originally designed with T3 engines and average pilot talents / maxed handling. So, for example, with basic engines and talents, it will be able to carry a DSAT out of 1g, but not by very much - if you come back fully loaded you'll most likely just crash. Ship is built on bottom of core with as little elements on top as possible, so you can place a DSAT or 3 scanners. Detailed interior, many hours spent on the voxels (finally used smooth tool!) Mk2 BP currently comes with basic engines and no rockets to make it easier to spawn. The third iteration of my daily flyer, a monster of a ship strapped to a small core. Easily takes over 2 kT from Alioth with room to spare. Perfect mission flyer and doing all your daily business barring hauling megaton nodes home. A few highlights: - Absurd flight handling. has a great mass balancing and turns like an XS core. Can do flips in mid-air or brake, turn and take off in the opposite direction without a hitch. (see rotation matrix) - Very low profile. Without resorting to angled engines, the front surface is kept to an absolute minimum. Using Seawing's flush wings and carefully placing engines in a staggered formation creates vey low drag. (See max speed, capped at 1250 to prevent burns) - Depending on your final configuration and load, it has a exceptional acceleration and brake force and takes off and lands like an overgrown pocket rocket. 5G thrust empty, drops to 1G at 2200 tonnes - It may not be your taste but I tried my best to cover the elements with voxels and shape something decent out of it. It even has a cockpit which is extremely rare for utilitarian ships like this. - Excellent storage, the bulk of the ship is shaped by the XL container, it provides enough space for anything you want to carry, it will be too heavy before it is full unless you are transporting Lumi voxels. Easy access from all sides by linkes XS containers in the wings and nose. Weight balanced in the rear by the hub. - Only needs one large space and atmos fuel tank for all engines, flies for days when half full, easy to refill from all sides. Even with basics it will outperform many ships out there, just out of luxury and because I use it daily, I equipped it with over the top rare military and maneuver grade engines, boosters and hovers and put in a rare optimised XL container too boot. The Belovator is a lightweight shaftless space elevator that flies along a gravity line to transport your cargo and players into space. You can easily upgrade this frame yourself and have it grow with your enterprise. The voxelframe is identical to the Belovator X, and all slots for additional containers, tanks and engines are marked or easily identifiable. It comes with the same amount of brakes and adjusters as the Belovator X, so you only need to add thrust, tanks and cargo space. The DBI LASH-1 (Light Atmospheric Scanning Hauler) is an efficient scanning vessel for those players looking to get in to scanning. This Small Core ship comes equipped with a single Basic Container Large and enough power to move it when fully loaded. As an atmospheric ship, the LASH utilizes a very open and minimalistic design aesthetic, reminiscent of construction vehicles once used on Earth. The Geo Scanner MK1 is an atmospheric tile scanning S sized core that can rapidly scan tiles. This tri-scanner features three territory scanners that are conveniently arranged for quick access from inside the ship, saving the pilot time from jumping in and out of the hull to operate scanners. Four T2 Uncommon Maneuver Engines L are installed to take advantage of the four second warmup time, which is two times better than the basic engine L. This allows for the Geo Scanner to be quickly deployed to its next location. A unique and distinctive design combined with a good average payload. Elements of the ship are well arranged so that there is plenty of space inside, also inside there is a slot for a protective shield, which is easy to install or remove. All elements of the ship are hidden so that there is access for repairs. The hull consists of only 3 types of honeycomb. There are six M containers on the ship. Which provides a very compact appearance. The lifting power consists only of Vertical Boosters, which guarantees the lifting of very heavy cargo for safe transportation around the planet.
