Each factory has x10 L containers for holding raw ore and x10 L containers for holding fuel. So you can put a good chunk of ore in and it will run for a long time! I highly recommend letting factory run for 24 hours before starting the assembly lines for containers. 24 hour production rate with no talents that is if you set all machines to run.
