The Hemera is an all in one home cruiser, with all the luxury and living space you need for long deep space missions and 14 Large cargo containers for hauling large loads. Some small extra crew containers are positioned in crew quarters and can be configured individually. Various picture screens and boards are located around the ship for you to add LUA,scripts and displays as you like, giving a custom feel to the ship. I revised the original Hemera from 2 XL engines to 4. This increases cross section slightly which means you'll need to push through atmo a little harder, but when the XL's take over the transition into space is much easier which compensates for the slight atmo speed loss. It also makes space hauling easier, I found that the 2 XL's were stressed when carrying heavy loads. The focus on this ship was utility. There is room in the forward deck for either a large shield or DSAT and room in the cockpit to add 2 crew seats for either DSAT management (the DSAT is accessible from one of the optional crew seats in the ceiling just outside the bridge) or to add 2 gunner chairs. Space for ammo containers is available in the cockpit. The ship can also be flown from one of the crew seats for solo piloting and DSAT management. Hauling from atmo is good, up to around 5-6kt (I would stay around 4-5kt since they nerfed adjustors) depending on engines and talents and 4 XL engines make space trucking a breeze. A captains quarters and 2 crew quarters are located near the bridge. On the top deck there is a landing pad for a speeder or warp shuttle. Tempest Sky Cruiser is stylish, yet simple hauler. it's suppose to have this alien-human hybrid looks. It's designed to carry 7000t of cargo. Engines: 24x L flat hovers 6x L vertical boosters 8x L atmo 4x L space Fuel: 1x L space fuel tank (main engines) 1x L atmo fuel tank (main engines) 1x M space fuel tank (vertical boosters) 3x M atmo fuel tanks (hovers) Containers: 10x L containers and room for 10 more, but might need more stuff on it to be able to carry it (unless you're using AGG) flying it empty is like flying an xs core ship, it's very agile and turns like an eagle. even tho it's designed for about 7000t of cargo (based on talents), it can probably lift about 10000t if you have level 4-5 talents in certain things, in fact i think only low altitude lift is problem and this is beacuse of hovers and vertical boosters, so if you put few more on or have high level talents, then it should easily lift 10kt. remember that you only have to get to 1km height, then you can use anti-gravity generator, it's slow, but it can lift any weight.

First ship in DU! Made it to carry whatever I needed handles good even fully loaded. You can put more cargo containers on it I just currently have not much use for more than 2 large. I have token available now also :) Does have some military grade engines

Black Icarus is my first supersonic heat-resistant ship build, it's cheap to make, but packs a punch! It's designed as fast travel ship as it can do 3000+km/h in atmosphere without taking heat damage. It uses specialized heat shield to prevent heat damage, see it in action on youtube: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Kps0fKjOGPo This ship is good for running your daily errands quickly! It has enough cargo capactiy and lift to be able to carry stuff from/to markets and you can also do some surface mining. it takes 30-60 minutes to fill the cargo with ore when surface mining (depending on areas and talents) and that's something that most people are willing to do and this ship is perfect for those runs, it can circle entire alioth in under 10 minutes. It's not perfect as this was my first supersonic ship and you might break a wing or brake here and there, but just take it easy and you'll be fine. making sudden / sharp turns while going supersonic can cause more damage, so when going supersonic, keep it as steady as possible. I highly recommend custom hud with altitude hold capabilites, because it's most effective at about 1-2% atmo, you can keep throttle at about 10% and it will go 3000+ easily, while barely spending any fuel. I used this ship for my daily errands for a week before i had to refuel. It's rather cheap to build and uses all the basic parts. NOTE - i have NOT tested cargo lift, but based on stats, it should be able to do about 1200 tons depending on talents. I think most i ever did was 700t and it didn't have any issues.
