DERP is back! Here is my result and also my first experiences with the new voxel tool. The MPUV is a small courier that also has 4 XS containers on board. It is only built for the atmosphere but can also be used in space, but then you can't really take much with you. I built it because of the syle, not because of the use. The MPUV is the first DERP ship of the finished game. And many more will follow. It will be sold only as a blueprint.

Very Small S Core Single L Container Hauler The Ugly Armadillo is _almost_ small enough to be an XS unit but didn't _quite_ fit. If you need a small, cheap, easy to fly space hauler for runs outside of the safe zone that won't cause you major loss if you get shot down... this is it. The Ugly Armadillo was my own solution to this problem, and now I'm sharing it with you. Lightweight, well balanced, and very easy to fly. Do yourself a favor, stay out of the pipe... this is not a defensive craft... it is meant to be a sacrificial lamb in the event someone wanting what you have catches up with you!

We are proud to (re)introduce the BIGFOOT S-Core Heavy Cargo. This is a sleek and very capable hauler and was designed with easy flying and lots of cargo in mind. BIGFOOT will carry up several kilotons off 1G planets within its 8 containers L, all with a smile and look good doing it. With a fully detailed interior you can relax after a hard days mining. For solo players or small groups this is an ideal hauler. For optimization purpose, elements have been selected based on maxed talents. This means ship will get better as your piloting talents go up, and reach full potential at higher levels. Your piloting talents will determine max cargo capacity. Hard limit tested with T2 engines for 1g is around 5kt net cargo (and much more on lower g environments), but be warned this has been achieved only with close to every possible maxed talent. So depending on your pilot talents and handling talents applied on ship, the following should be much easier and safer: T1 engines: 1-2kt T2 engines: 3-4kt All elements are visible and can be accessed from outside or engineering room for repair and/or linking (no obstructed atmo brakes!). With Mk2 comes a reworked interior, lighter honeycombs, spot for a DSAT / small landing pad, and spots for 3 scanners. COMPACT - CAPABLE - EFFICIENT DRM FREE Loaded with Albatross HUD Basic light duty spaceplane, Great for bootstrapping up through ailerons missions or taking care of market runs, orbital hops and jaunts between planets for errands that don't require you to break out the heavy iron. Stats given for the basic engine version, advanced blueprint also available. I am no artist or shipmaker, this is just the culmination of continuous tinkering to my go-to method of getting around. My goal in this game has always just been to cruise around and explore, so the focus of the tinkering has been getting something that flies as well as possible, and I am pretty pleased with how it came out so I thought I would share. It is good for about 50t off of Alioth on the basic version depending on skills. Burn speed is up around 1850 so is pretty forgiving if you come back in to atmo a little hot. Container hub and engines centered on 0,0 so it stays balanced regardless of load. All medium engines so nice and fuel efficient. All a single honeycomb type so feel free to replace with your voxel of choice. Stats are listed for the "basic" engine version which uses pure carbon as the weight reference. Engines also easy to swap out, coordinates in the pictures, though it seems you need to pull the ailerons off to place the engines and put them back on when you are done. Whether you are brand new and looking to upgrade but not ready for the big large engine haulers, or have been around a while and just looking to try something different on the cheap, feel free to come by and check them out.
