The Apollo is a highly efficient and versatile cruiser. The narrow cross section (455m2) enables a larger payload because of less atmo drag. Capable of 5kt cargo lift depending on engines installed, talents and pilot skill. Ensure a soft, plane like landing to avoid overloading the vertical boosters if landing heavy. There is a spacious cargo area that can be outfitted to suit the mission. The standard loadout is 7 L containers, 3 more can be added alongside a M shield to fill the hub capacity if required. The interior is spacious and has crew quarters for the captain, a dedicated resurrection chamber and passenger seating. A landing pad is available at the rear of the ship for shuttles or fighter escorts, as the Apollo is an M core, up to S core size can be docked. This baby turns heads wherever you go. This is my personal daily driver. If you are looking for a ship that can haul multi kilotons of cargo then this is NOT the ship for you. This is not a workhorse. This is a piece of art. This ship was based on a 3D model which can be seen in the pics. This ship was built to scale as the model had human models built in. I had to highly modify the back end and add nacels in order to facilitate as much thrust as I could due to the unfortunate size of DU's engine models. I have tested this with 1KT of cargo leaving both entering and leaving Alioth with Level 4 talents. It is doable but it is not fun. I would say that this ship's happy place is around 800 tons. The top "hood" took many hours to nail down moving point by point to get the slope and lines just right. I would have loved to add more detail however I was limited by chunk complexity in most areas. A light courier able to warp from Alioth to Teoma with 7-8 warp cells (no cargo, fuel capacity filled). The ship is able to float pretty easily in upper atmosphere of Sanctuary and other planets should you desire. The ship to build probably is between 3-4.5 million with estimates as of writing this. As always, the ship will most likely work the best with max piloting talents - it might not even be able to reach space without them. Inventory and engine stats are a high priority to reduce mass. It's scientifically unproven even. Sure, you can fly around pew pew-ing with space glue holding your ship together but why? Anyways, the Desperatio is a Meta current ship that sports 4 Advanced Precision Rails, Advanced Shield Gen, and Uncommon Freight L's for the power! with 19.6G of thrust and 31.7G of brake, you go where you want to go and fast....and with style! Frontal cross section of 40.4m2 is quite good with voxels and you'll still be hard to hit. Blueprint with Rare Rails/Shield and Advanced Freight also available. Deadgunner script is loaded on the seat and the remote. I think it's priced pretty well at 750k and am always willing to work out bulk deals. The blueprint is lvl 5 buffed on all the flight necessities. I can buff lvl 5 seat and radar capacity and lvl 4 on small rails/cannons/radar afterwards for free at my space station conveniently located 10km from the Tachyon Highway Mkt 6 beacon.
