The Anisoptera v3 X1 (internal code name: "Fast and Furious") is the latest version of this famous dragonfly-alike designer speedboat. The original designs called for a fast boat that could fit many different types of ship hangars, thus the resulting concept was that of a very slender ship hull. That in return resulted in a low drag amount and therefore high possible speeds if powered adequatly. Overheating starts at 1,800 km/h, first damage at around 2,300 km/h. At the edge of the atmosphere, in suborbit, no damage and overheating, and speeds in excess of 5,000 km/h. The version 3 has the following improvements over V2: - even higher speed (same atmospheric 2,300 km/h as before but now beyond 5,000 km/h suborbit) - slightly increased wing lift capacity - more brake power And the best is: from the outside there is almost no difference! Sometimes, you're not feeling like hotdog style of PvP and you all you want is a good hamburger style. Remember, hamburgers are better when they're dressed up and so much more flavorful. Be flavorful and give voxels a try in your PvP ship. The Continuum is Meta current for PvP fleet battles or when dealing with multiple enemies. The cross sections don't favor any one angle of attack. Equipped with Advanced precision rails, advanced shield, uncommon freights, and voxels, you'll fight in style and power. Rare/Rare/Advanced also available. Boasting 16g of thrust and 21g of braking, you can move and stop nicely stay in the fight. It can be spawned without things like windows and doors if you don't have them. Basic engines. Its been tested to take a DSAT from Haven with no problems. Anyone that buys this starter version can upgrade to the full version for 500k (1.5m full BP price) once I have them up and running. I upgraded this version for more thrust, lift and brakes to help in early game so those changes need to be retrofitted to the full version once i can print one.
