The "Carl Sagan" class of organically shaped ships that provide cargo and VIP personnel logistics. The ship is versatile. It has a cockpit that can be customized, then there is the passenger area that contains in its current configuration seats for up to 12 VIPs, and then there is its cargo bay which can be configured to hold one or more of the following customer-provided elements: - containers - seats - additional engines - warp drive - scanner - radar This ship, in its original configuration, is a LIGHT-built - mostly lithium, some sodium, small amounts of plastic, but also precious woods. The ship has the ability of uncontrolled soft landing. When having reached sufficient height and minimum speed, the pilot could leave the cockpit and she will glide towards the ground and has a smooth touch-down, provided that there are no obstacles in her way (artificial structures, steep cliffs ). She uses XS landing gear to allow easy access. Strong lights provide good sight when landing in the dark. She's at home on hovers, in the air, and in space. The ship is sold as token, and the sales are limited to a total of 10 ships only to keep her rare. It takes off quickly and accelerates to max speed in seconds. The sleek, low-cross-section profile allows re-entry or cruising in high atmosphere at up to 2000 km/h without damage. This little monster can carry more than 576kL of cargo in the smallest core possible! Plenty of wings let an unskilled pilot lift more than 1000t of cargo from the surface of Alioth to space and superior braking power allows for much more cargo to be safely brought down to it. The same pilot can lift the full volume filled with hematite (more than 2000t) from any low G planet like Madis for example. A skilled pilot will enjoy the superior maneuverability while hauling regular cargo between markets. 11 additional XS containers (9 bound to a hub) for warp cells etc. help keeping cargo organized. 4 up-facing space S engines help maneuver at space stations. K.I.T.T. from Knight Rider, however mine is called Knight Industries Ten Thousand, as it can fly into space! Check it out @youtube: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tMiXeJ96emc I've always liked Knight Rider, so that was my inspiration for this build, it's built after an actual 3D model by using 3D hologram. This ship only serves as personal transport, originally i had xs container on it, but i took it off. You can remove space engines and space fuel tank and turn it into a pocket-rocket. I currently have rare military engines on it and it really flies! It can go from 0 to 500 in like 3 seconds, it's very agile and easy to control, it can do barrel rolls and death loops. if you're not bothered by the looks, you can very easily add more wings and/or engines on it, very easy to modify to fit your needs. you can easily replace hovers with vertical booster if you wanna use it only in space ..etc.
