Auto Altitude.. Just fly to the required alt and hit alt+2 to enable altitude hold. use alt3/Shift Alt 3 to increase/decrease target altitude by 100m. The Argos Role is transporting ore from the carrier to a space station. So the carrier can stay a long time in the field for the miners.
