The plan was to test out how to make a space station about 65KM from the planet. Assuming I'd succeed the idea behind the station was to use it for making fuel and basic scrap without having to land on the planet. So I obviously succeeded at making the space station however, the location was completely wrong for the job. It turns out you need to make the space stations away from where your bases are and stock them with resources you need at those locations. That said it was fun doing it for the first time and the views are super.

McBain Rocket Shop Showroom Floor with Attached Factory Version 1.0 This is a multi-large core build, in total there are 4 large cores, one for each pedestal, one for the factory and one for the hangar. I wanted a hangar attached to my factory, some place I can work and build XS and S ships with good lighting and manufacture tokens all in the same structure. Near future I will have attached landing pads and voxel library storage area. The showroom area is just about the length and width of a large core large enough to showcase or store several small and extra small ships. The factory is five open floors of space with a floating control center. Currently have installed enough machines to make all parts basic thru advanced and have only used a quarter of available space. There are 2 landing pads and an observation deck with elevators to move about quickly. Pedestals available if needed. Update 2.0 also i trade for ore on bps so if you dont want to use your quanta i trade for ore. Luxury pads that where originally built in beta and now redone with better skills. Large core uses mostly plastics and some wood there is a little bit of gold but not enough to break a bank! The DAFO think with this idea you bring more to the game, yes you can dismantle an element. But you never know what you will get out of it due to the random component you get. Because face it, you will have more of use of an UNC.atmo L engine, even if you just can repair it 1-2 times more, than one UNC.reinforced frame in your pocket. And yes. We even sell ships at the Scrapyard. We sell them either repaird, with elements that do not have full repairtimes on them, or unrepaird so you can get it cheaper and need to repair it your self. We even buy elements that's broken, the repairtimes are what determines the price of the element/ship that we are looking at to buy. So if you are a scavanger come by and show us what you have.
