Then the legend became a rumor: a ship so exclusive no one could confirm it existed in the real world. And now, thanks to you, that rumor is about to become a very messy centrefold. The Hagboard Pro Sometimes even a "classic" ship needs some more love... Since Alpha i am giving away Hagboard BP's for free or BP creation costs, now finally i make the Hagboard Pro available. It has my personal HUD with all the features i use myself daily when flying around. - Full Auto-level - Altitude Hold - Underwater mode -Home waypoint via hotkey. ( position can be entered in LUA Parameters) I tried keeping my HUD close to default flying config, so if you can fly with default, just hop on and start enjoying. but if you want those extra features, they are just one key combo away. Most needed keys are being explained in the HUD, and there is an inbuilt help screen available via Shift+Alt+1. This brings the Hagboard to the next level. With it's rare military engines it has that extra "punch" when you want it and with it's redone voxelwork is has a slick fast look to it. The underwater mode that automatically activate when getting on underwater ( or using alt+6 ) allows to fly underwater as if you would be in atmosphere. Perfect for that scanning trip on Jago ;-) Even if it has Auto-level on by default, just hold left shift key to disable auto-level whilst holding that key to do those aerobatic tricks when you need it. This is a basic spaceplane with: 1)Ability to carry 21kL (<100t I guess ) in Atmo, very useful for hauling missions. 2)Low sustention speed and good maneuverability 3)Good space autonomy (an hour at full thrust) 4)Bad atmospheric autonomy(relatively. Full thrust will give you 700 km/h and ~1SU of flight. Can be increased by increasing your height or lowering the speed) 5)Good brakes 6)Maneuver engines for parking (thrust forward and sideways). Those have a separate fuel tank, so if you run out of fuel, just land and pump out of here. Elements: Most of them are basic and can be crafted in your backpack (exceptions are: container hub, M atmo-engine, cockpit, ECU and some decorative materials like luminescent glass) HUD: I'm using Albatross custom HUD for it's simplicity and height managing options (useful for hauling... just hit Alt-3 and you can leave it flying forward at set height). Cons are fuel displays: 50% means that you have run out of fuel for main engines...And only maneuver engines are left. RDMS: didn't touch it at all. Black Icarus is my first supersonic heat-resistant ship build, it's cheap to make, but packs a punch! It's designed as fast travel ship as it can do 3000+km/h in atmosphere without taking heat damage. It uses specialized heat shield to prevent heat damage, see it in action on youtube: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Kps0fKjOGPo This ship is good for running your daily errands quickly! It has enough cargo capactiy and lift to be able to carry stuff from/to markets and you can also do some surface mining. it takes 30-60 minutes to fill the cargo with ore when surface mining (depending on areas and talents) and that's something that most people are willing to do and this ship is perfect for those runs, it can circle entire alioth in under 10 minutes. It's not perfect as this was my first supersonic ship and you might break a wing or brake here and there, but just take it easy and you'll be fine. making sudden / sharp turns while going supersonic can cause more damage, so when going supersonic, keep it as steady as possible. I highly recommend custom hud with altitude hold capabilites, because it's most effective at about 1-2% atmo, you can keep throttle at about 10% and it will go 3000+ easily, while barely spending any fuel. I used this ship for my daily errands for a week before i had to refuel. It's rather cheap to build and uses all the basic parts. NOTE - i have NOT tested cargo lift, but based on stats, it should be able to do about 1200 tons depending on talents. I think most i ever did was 700t and it didn't have any issues.
