Characteristics : The YT-2000 transport is a space cargo model built around an S size core. Unlike civilian freighters, this one has a shield and laser weapons. It has a transport tonnage of 120 kL. The YT-2000 transport has 14 M-sized maneuver engines that allow it to reach its maximum acceleration of 12G in seconds. It can be piloted either by a single man or in a duet with a pilot and a gunner. Role: The YT-2000 is an admirable space freighter for its extensive cargo capacity, strong defensive systems, incredible maneuverability and extensive modification possibilities. This XS core, ultra light orbiter was sculpted entirely using the VPT for maximum style. Designed with fuel economy and basic parts in mind, I set out to make a sleek, easy to acquire ship that everyone can enjoy post wipe. The Luminaris has 1 Medium and 2 Small Atmospheric engines with 4 Small Space engines and has a top speed of 49,000km/h+ in space. Feel the thrill as you drift around celestial bodies and stop on a dime when you reach the end of your intrepid journey. The ship wasn’t built for hauling although 6 Basic XS Containers on a hub are provided for light shopping and carrying around your data items, spare fuel and scrap. I hope you have as much fun flying the Luminaris as I had building the ship. Achieving the tiny form factor without compromising on the elements needed to retain its performance was, in some ways, more of a challenge than on the M core Stiletto I built. The Luminaris comes with Arch HUD by default (made by Archaegeo). On top of that I have chosen to use the Container Monitor open source LUA by Krengus of ASTCO as this is a helpful script for checking weight, fuel and inventory at a glance. I got on DUC to update this ship and it turns out I never listed it at all. So here it is, the Admirari. It's an S core and configurable to your needs. designed to support modularity (i made that word up). Pop scanner pods, cargo pods, DSAT pods or just add on up to 6 Container L's on the racks. Hauls around 1kt with moderate piloting skills. I use it for market running because it's fast and powerful. 6 uncommon maneuver Atmo L and 4 uncommon military space L engines. It handles like a champ and didn't have to change anything flight wise when I started updating my ships for Athena. I rearranged the interior a bit to add in a second container M and just make it prettier in general. It's a treat to fly and fairly inexpensive to warp. coming in at just under 500t, 605t fully fueled. Atmo speed set at 1200 with no burning and space capable up to 25k km/h. It may not look pretty, but it get's your stuff done, and with grace you won't expect from this brute. It can haul up and over 2 kilotons of your stuff up to space from Alioth with a bit of a seasoned pilot, all in a neatly packed optimised XL container. It uses 8 large atmos engines to do that, I personally love the advanced maneuver versions but you could get more done with different if you prefer. It has enough brakes to safely land with your stuff but some caution is advised because it is not meant to bob up and down on it's boosters with 600 KL of hematite weighing down in it's belly. For your convenience it is equipped with a warp core, a resurrection node and a VR pod for when you feel a bit bored. Sweet bumper sticker. No toilet. Careful when flying empty, at full thrust it will incinerate itself into a crisp right after the engines warm up (2 seconds). To prevent accidental deaths and warranty returns, the ship comes equipped with Arch Hud and set to a max atmos speed of 1200 km/s. It's large fuel tanks can take you on a complete tour of Alioth and it's solar system without refueling. A separate container system can hold your warp cells, scraps for accidental scratches and a couple of litres of fuel. On top of all of that it comes with some handy conveniences like 60.000 lumen landing lights to see what you are doing on the surface when landed, if has two laser guidance beams that only come on during flight to save batteries and has all round navigation lights so no space-nub will accidentally rear-end you. Can be turned off for... I don't know. but you can. This easy to use go-to 1kt hauler is an improvement on previous versions. This is the most effective small scale hauler I could make, basically 2 large rare military atmo engine housings with foils. On request I can offer lesser engine versions. Meticulous element placement and trial and error have resulted in a very responsive and reliable hybrid that launches steeply out of 1g hauling 1.2 kilotons with mid-range skills. It is designed around crash safety; overpowered vertical boosters, an emergency control unit and several large and excessive atmo brakes mean you can stop a dead-drop quickly.
