The Rouen V2 is a high performance S core warp shuttle from Stellar Forge. She's the perfect tool for exploring or collecting from those lower yield off world flowers. Equipped with inertia damping software she is agile, precise and powerful. Due to a decently small cross-section, in testing she made 1400kms in atmosphere without damaging components. The components are mainly advanced, with upgrades to Rare where warranted. Twin Rare Military Space engines ensures she gets to warp altitude quickly (a little under 8g of space thrust) and the 6 optimised containers means she can pack a decent load while doing so. In testing the Rouen was easily able to handle 500t of cargo and with a little care will easily take 1kt (Level 5 boosts and 4 Piloting skills). Fully fueled she will make the trip from Alioth to Teoma on 40 warp cells, with the warp cells stored separately to not impact your carrying capacity. She also has rockets for that little extra punch if required. Those not requiring rockets can either deploy the Rouen without them, or remove them later on. Alongside the class leading performance, the Rouen has a shuttle bay. This is sized to fit most common work platforms or smaller pocketable ships. Though the vessel is named "Corvette Class" the ship is in fact a Light Frigate, but was designed specifically to fill the maneuverable fleet escort role historically attributed to corvettes, and named accordingly. As well as playing a crucial part in most MCRN battlegroups, the Corvette is often deployed as a patrol vessel, customs enforcement craft and reconnaissance ship, taking advantage of its long range and versatility to serve the cause of the Martian Republic across the breadth of the solar system. This ship is a pvp-fitted replica of the MCRN Tachi or later Rocinante from the scifi show 'The Expanse' and comes with 3 interior decks aswell as some additional free space in the "engineering" deck below a hatch in the lowest interior deck. This version, compared to Destrin's amazing M core replica, sports her original MCRN colors in her paintjob. The blueprint of the ship comes without weapons, as to make deploying the blueprint easier (and less expensive). The ship's default orientation is vertical and can switch to horizontal (normal) flight via gyroscope. You can either toggle it via ArchHUD on the pilot controller seat with alt+9 or you can toggle it in first person from either the gunner seat or pilot seat. So you're collecting some roid-rage at all the Safe Zone ores you're mining in to your Weird Science mk2. You're perusing the nearby PVP asteroids that are close by and boy do they look tasty! But you're not interested in risking your DSAT ship. It's a hefty gamble! Well check out this little tidbit! An XS Core space-only vessel designed to dock on the side of your Weird Science mk2, this little guy is well equipped to cross the boundary of PVP and chase after that Rare asteroid you saw nearby. One large container is all you need to get that return on your investment AND pocket a heap of profits! Feeling extra spunky? Take a second one out with you, bring your friends, and try to steal away with 2 large containers! Or double your chances of getting away with some loot. You'll still be able to pay off your losses with money to spare. Load up the booty, book it back to the safe zone where you parked your Weird Science mk2, and strafe-dock back in to position. Lock yourself in place with the ECU, and hop back over to your main ship. Just be careful not to get too greedy, otherwise you might have to turn some of that Tier 3&4 in to scrap.
