MC Industries presents the Basic Platform S, a multi-purpose S core platform that is designed for low cost and maximal utility while presenting a heavy-duty industrial aesthetic reminiscent of offshore drilling platforms. The tall pillars upon which the platform rests allows for the most flexibility for placement on uneven terrain with minimal terraforming, that a small core would allow. Only tier1 materials are used, so it could be deployed quite soon after launch. It can easily be used as a remote mining platform. Six openings in the floor allow mining beams to penetrate and the raised platform allows plenty of room for ore to spawn beneath the mining units for easy collection. The interior features a display stand with space for two large transparent screens and shelves for placing container hubs, programming boards, detection zones and all the other elements needed to support mining and factory LUA applications. There is enough space for 10 Container L inside, plus the mining units and even a few industry units for ore or fuel refining. The roof of the structure can be used as a landing pad for small craft with a ladder providing access. If you don't want the mining unit holes in the floor, a simple copy-paste operation can be done to replace them with a floor segment that is solid. Though the photos show some elements placed, the blueprint is supplied without any elements. Just voxels. You can grow and expand the amenities like LUA and larger containers as Noveans manufacturing capabilities expand after launch. My first Sanctuary Structure and probably the only structure, which I have actually used that I will share here. This is because I like to make underground structures and they just look like boxes from the outside. I designed it with a landing pad, public hatch to allow people into what I imagined would be a store when I build it and a private elevator to allow me quick access to the interior, that is locked away from the public. Inside I have a few decorations, separate shower and toilet and one bedroom. Also have below that, what is now a store room but did start out as a factory room. Technically the images are showing the top of a Large static core but I liked the roof so much I recreated it (transferred it) to the large core when I swapped out the XS core (and S core I was using as a factory under, Under Snowy). So basically the reason I am sharing this is the landing pad on top and windows peaking out over the ground surface. Note Snowy is what I called my sanctuary tile because it has some snow in some places. I picked the tile because I wanted to see what the map was showing. It turned out the map was accurately depicting the snowy areas.
