The same model ship that Luthen Rael prefers in Andor, the Fondor Haulcraft is a small-core hubrid hauler with warp drive. It has the equivalent of 1 1/2 Large containers of cargo space. It can lift around 450 to 600 tons off Alioth. Its meant to be a daily driver. Small enough to warp, large enough to carry a respectable load, and fast enough to get in and out quick. Notice the full detail interior as close to the show ship as I can manage. Round hallways! I build a lot of ships, but I really like this one and its my current daily driver. COMPACT - CAPABLE - EFFICIENT DRM FREE Loaded with Albatross HUD Basic light duty spaceplane, Great for bootstrapping up through ailerons missions or taking care of market runs, orbital hops and jaunts between planets for errands that don't require you to break out the heavy iron. Stats given for the basic engine version, advanced blueprint also available. I am no artist or shipmaker, this is just the culmination of continuous tinkering to my go-to method of getting around. My goal in this game has always just been to cruise around and explore, so the focus of the tinkering has been getting something that flies as well as possible, and I am pretty pleased with how it came out so I thought I would share. It is good for about 50t off of Alioth on the basic version depending on skills. Burn speed is up around 1850 so is pretty forgiving if you come back in to atmo a little hot. Container hub and engines centered on 0,0 so it stays balanced regardless of load. All medium engines so nice and fuel efficient. All a single honeycomb type so feel free to replace with your voxel of choice. Stats are listed for the "basic" engine version which uses pure carbon as the weight reference. Engines also easy to swap out, coordinates in the pictures, though it seems you need to pull the ailerons off to place the engines and put them back on when you are done. Whether you are brand new and looking to upgrade but not ready for the big large engine haulers, or have been around a while and just looking to try something different on the cheap, feel free to come by and check them out. I didn't want static limitations for my next creation: the infamous cantina from Star Wars: Episode 4. I'd make a mobile version, and remembered the various mentions of 'Swoop Racing' from the years of playing games, reading extra lore, etc. After looking over nearly every frame of the cantina ever shown on film, every available blueprint online, former cantinas designed in all popular SW games, and the entire PDF for Lego's step-by-step instructions - I felt prepared to bring the iconic location to life. All in all took about a month of casual playing to build/finalize. You can come enjoy 'Lightwells Mos Eisley Cantina' in VR anytime, (Or pick up a copy of your very own!) it and many other builds at LSA INDUSTRIES have been made for the enjoyment of the DU community, Cheers everyone! *Images show the 'bury test' from beta - one consideration people may want to remember is that the unique advantage of DU's terrain allows for realistic application of sand or whatever over top of the build, especially the dynamic version shown in the test- you can effectively bury the flying version, and hollow out a small entrance for the garage. The Grindylow, by Stormsteel, is a super efficient light hauler. With no piloting skills, this ship can get 500 tons off of Alioth. The Grindylow is extremely fuel efficient, and can run the Aileron Parts mission at least 10 times on a single fuel fill. The handling in atmo is top notch and the ship is capable of gliding on its wings with little to no thrust even with weight on board. The Grindylow comes with Albatross HUD installed on the seat, and Damage Report hooked up to the two screens on the bridge. Most elements of the ship are repairable from the inside.
