The original designs called for a fast boat that could fit many different types of ship hangars, thus the resulting concept was that of a very slender ship hull. That in return resulted in a low drag amount and therefore high possible speeds if powered adequatly. Overheating starts at 1,800 km/h, first damage at around 2,300 km/h. At the edge of the atmosphere, in suborbit, no damage and overheating, and speeds in excess of 5,000 km/h. The version 3 has the following improvements over V2: - even higher speed (same atmospheric 2,300 km/h as before but now beyond 5,000 km/h suborbit) - slightly increased wing lift capacity - more brake power And the best is: from the outside there is almost no difference! LiftOff brings you an evolution of monstrous proportions, the Kong. Bringing the successful design of the Silverback up to an M core size has lead to some impressive features and improvements. Depending on pilot skills the Kong can handle 3kt of cargo off of Alioth. Also equipped with maneuvering thrusters for easy adjustments when landing at space stations. The Apollo is a highly efficient and versatile cruiser. The narrow cross section (455m2) enables a larger payload because of less atmo drag. Capable of 5kt cargo lift depending on engines installed, talents and pilot skill. Ensure a soft, plane like landing to avoid overloading the vertical boosters if landing heavy. There is a spacious cargo area that can be outfitted to suit the mission. The standard loadout is 7 L containers, 3 more can be added alongside a M shield to fill the hub capacity if required. The interior is spacious and has crew quarters for the captain, a dedicated resurrection chamber and passenger seating. A landing pad is available at the rear of the ship for shuttles or fighter escorts, as the Apollo is an M core, up to S core size can be docked. The Apollo is designed for everyday use, it has a playful flight profile, is efficient enough to pop to the market for a few items but powerful enough to make those large mission runs or asteroid trips too.

Zero Cool is unique experimental sci-fi style supersonic heat-resistant ship. @youtube = https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Bs4aii8Hk6c It's very easy to control and can lift about 2000t of cargo (give or take based on talents). It will very easily go over 1500km/h in lower atmo with only 30% throttle. It's powered by 6x uncommon maneuver atmospheric L engines, but stock engines will work fine too, they'll just eat bit more fuel and warm-up time is longer. It has about 17g lift from wings, which should be able to get 2000t of cargo into space from any planet's surface. most important part about this ship, is that it's equipped with heat shield, which prevents you from taking damage when going supersonic speeds in atmosphere. you can easily fly 2000km/h in lower atmo and 5000km/h in upper atmo. it's not 100% as it depends how good you are at flying, for example if you start turning at high speeds, there's a risk that some elements may take heat damage or break completely, but if you know how to fly and don't make any sudden turns, then no problem! I have gone around alioth twice at about 5000km/h and haven't had any issues. This ship is designed for effeciency and ease of use, it will get you from A to B faster than normal ships. It only has 2xM containers + 4x S containers, but you can easily squeeze 4 more S containers on it. This ship is almost as small as S core, but reasons why it uses M core, is because smaller size M core ships are more heat resistant and also so that you can tow S core ships with it.

ALBA is my first Demeter Compatible M-Core Starship, with no obstructed brakes and retro engines - with a unique style inline with my other ships - this one goes for the "verticality" :) The ship has 10 Large Atmo Engines and a beefy XL Space Engine.
