This is a special ship, developed to give a lift to up to 10 passengers or crashed pilots in need. What makes this ship so special is its ability to manage over-crowded market platforms as this is what it was designed for: while it cannot protect you from market-caused disconnects and error messages, it however can easily navigate on these platforms as no obstacle is high enough to cause any problem: Unbelievably, it can hover up to one hundred and two = 102 meters (!!!!!!!) above any PLATFORM or CONSTRUCT! Yes, 102 meters were the measured maximum! Otherwise around 30 meters. We measured on the Alioth Market 6 platform which itself is 222 meters above sea level. Please refer to the screenshots. We also made sure it can reach a nice little speed, its possible maximum speed was never measured as we had to limit acceleration to 2,250 km/h (that we now call SMS = Safe Maximum Speed) to avoid damage to elements (one of the front adjustors) that we observed starting to happen at 2,256 km/h. When we shut off all engines at maximum altitude (around 4,600 m) at SMS, this ship is so airworthy it took over 20 minutes to gently glide down and land. As this ship was designed for passengers, it provides a great view thanks to large window areas and special enheightened seats positioning. You will see. And finally, we gave a very unusual yet pleasant shape to this high-speed taxi, partially inspired by those air buses seen on Coruscant, center of the Galactic Republic, in Star Wars. SIDE NOTE We had a big smile when we found out that our ship can give a few minutes of sub orbital experiences to passengers, just like Virgin Galactic's "VSS Unity" (Richard Branson) or Blue Origin's "New Shepard"" (Jeff Bezos). To do that, simply put all engines to full power, and aim upwards in "Ground Object!" mode or "Flying Object" mode. This will get you out of the atmosphere. But of course, gravity will eventually get you back and you then can do it again. So you see, you can now finally become a serious competitor to Richard Branson and Jeff Bezos! All my designs will be available at The Third Verse server Introducing the Luminaris and Luminaris Pro upgraded version: The personal transport of the future. This XS core, ultra light orbiter was sculpted entirely using the VPT for maximum style. Designed with fuel economy and basic parts in mind, I set out to make a sleek, easy to acquire ship that everyone can enjoy post wipe. The Luminaris has 1 Medium and 2 Small Atmospheric engines with 4 Small Space engines and has a top speed of 49,000km/h+ in space. Feel the thrill as you drift around celestial bodies and stop on a dime when you reach the end of your intrepid journey. The ship wasn’t built for hauling although 6 Basic XS Containers on a hub are provided for light shopping and carrying around your data items, spare fuel and scrap. I hope you have as much fun flying the Luminaris as I had building the ship. Achieving the tiny form factor without compromising on the elements needed to retain its performance was, in some ways, more of a challenge than on the M core Stiletto I built. The Luminaris comes with Arch HUD by default (made by Archaegeo). On top of that I have chosen to use the Container Monitor open source LUA by Krengus of ASTCO as this is a helpful script for checking weight, fuel and inventory at a glance. The Rouen V2 is a high performance S core warp shuttle from Stellar Forge. She's the perfect tool for exploring or collecting from those lower yield off world flowers. Equipped with inertia damping software she is agile, precise and powerful. Due to a decently small cross-section, in testing she made 1400kms in atmosphere without damaging components. The components are mainly advanced, with upgrades to Rare where warranted. Twin Rare Military Space engines ensures she gets to warp altitude quickly (a little under 8g of space thrust) and the 6 optimised containers means she can pack a decent load while doing so. In testing the Rouen was easily able to handle 500t of cargo and with a little care will easily take 1kt (Level 5 boosts and 4 Piloting skills). Fully fueled she will make the trip from Alioth to Teoma on 40 warp cells, with the warp cells stored separately to not impact your carrying capacity. She also has rockets for that little extra punch if required. Those not requiring rockets can either deploy the Rouen without them, or remove them later on. Alongside the class leading performance, the Rouen has a shuttle bay. This is sized to fit most common work platforms or smaller pocketable ships. I Made this ship to fly the biggest DELIVERY F8 Missions.... You can deploy this ship and fly with no skills - its a little hard to get off Alioth with the largest 1.8kt package and requires the need to ascend in levels to prevent stalling. So far it has been tried and tested on many missions for huge profits. Is it worth it? Well YES! but how much is it going to cost. I've done an analysis of all the prices of all the parts at Alioth Market 6, and the breakdown is as follows. If all products are bought at the bid it will cost 6.32 million h. If all products are bought at the mid then it will cost 8.32 million h. Lastly if you smash the BUY NOW button and just take the asking price it will cost 10.33 million h. These figures were priced 10/26/22. The following are stats were taken with a fully loaded 1.8kt 7.5m mission package. LiftOff brings you an evolution of monstrous proportions, the Kong. Bringing the successful design of the Silverback up to an M core size has lead to some impressive features and improvements. Depending on pilot skills the Kong can handle 3kt of cargo off of Alioth. Also equipped with maneuvering thrusters for easy adjustments when landing at space stations. On top of that it has enough seating for 20 people and is warp capable for those group outings. The large top deck can also be used to dock small and extra small ships comfortably.
