The Harpy is a S-core shuttle and small-scale hauler for up to 400 tons safely off Alioth. But its main selling point is her sleek, aerodynamic design, which allows her to fly at comfortably fast speeds without the fear of burning up in atmosphere. 1200km/h travel at 2600m altitude on Alioth is a comfortable cruise speed for this little beast, while achieving an overall top-speed of 1412km/h. The Harpy's frame is mainly built out of aluminium, making this sporty work horse light as a feather at 168tons dry weight, so that all her power can go towards lifting the real weight in her 1x L-sized cargo container, which may transport 166kL or 400 tons of cargo. The ship is accelerated by 2x rear-mounted Large Military Atmospheric Engine, 2x diagonally-mounted Medium Basic Atmospheric Engine, aswell as 4x Medium Military Space Engine and 2x Medium Basic Space Engine. Her warp drive consumes about 23 (+ additional from cargo) warp cells per jump from Alioth to Lacobus (or about 500 su), thus making it an efficient small and fast grocery hauler with interplanetary capabilities. If you want to be somewhere fast and maybe have a few things to transport there aswell and show off with an impressive and sporty ship, you might aswell beg for a flight with the Harpy Type C!

The main feature of this ship is its stability. It does not lose wing lift with side slip up to 45 degrees. A cross-section of 150 m2 allows for high speeds in the atmosphere. Atmospheric VTOL scout/elevator ship with a slight luxurious feel to it, very useful for AGG ships! It is fast, agile and has a pretty long range, it can hover perfectly still in the same spot and it can get you up to your ship, platform, etc... in seconds...sadly because of the 8 thrusters it is not compactable! "USS Langley, (CV-1/AV-3)" - The first US Navy Aircraft Carrier 1920-1942 While this is not a replica of that famous ship, it carries that famous name. The ship has been created as a no-nonsense purpose-built work ship. There are no Deco elements (there is room to add them if you desire), there are no fancy board rooms or lighting elements and plants and frilly things. The total element count is 633. The Langley has a large flat carrier deck that is greater than the size of an M core ship, as such it can accommodate the largest M core ships in the game while they have a full load, and that is what it was built for. While this is not a "Hauler" there are 34 Advanced Optimised L Containers below deck, 4 of them for Warp Cell and miscellaneous storage. There is a massive area "On Deck" to place cargo packs or containers and your favorite ships up to a fully loaded M core. The ship has been tested with 16kt of cargo off and on to a 1G planet it is being rated at 16kt, more than that is the Pilots responsibility. There are 30x Advanced Military atmospheric engines to push this to space, and 4x Advanced Military space engines to get it to max space speed. Space Thrusters are included to make navigation at a space station easy. There is space to add 8 more ATMO Engines if you do not use an AGG. Please take some time to compare the STATS to other ships.
