The original designs called for a fast boat that could fit many different types of ship hangars, thus the resulting concept was that of a very slender ship hull. That in return resulted in a low drag amount and therefore high possible speeds if powered adequatly. Overheating starts at 1,800 km/h, first damage at around 2,300 km/h. At the edge of the atmosphere, in suborbit, no damage and overheating, and speeds in excess of 5,000 km/h. The third iteration of my daily flyer, a monster of a ship strapped to a small core. Easily takes over 2 kT from Alioth with room to spare. Perfect mission flyer and doing all your daily business barring hauling megaton nodes home. A few highlights: - Absurd flight handling. has a great mass balancing and turns like an XS core. Can do flips in mid-air or brake, turn and take off in the opposite direction without a hitch. (see rotation matrix) - Very low profile. Without resorting to angled engines, the front surface is kept to an absolute minimum. Using Seawing's flush wings and carefully placing engines in a staggered formation creates vey low drag. (See max speed, capped at 1250 to prevent burns) - Depending on your final configuration and load, it has a exceptional acceleration and brake force and takes off and lands like an overgrown pocket rocket. 5G thrust empty, drops to 1G at 2200 tonnes - It may not be your taste but I tried my best to cover the elements with voxels and shape something decent out of it. It even has a cockpit which is extremely rare for utilitarian ships like this. - Excellent storage, the bulk of the ship is shaped by the XL container, it provides enough space for anything you want to carry, it will be too heavy before it is full unless you are transporting Lumi voxels. Easy access from all sides by linkes XS containers in the wings and nose. Weight balanced in the rear by the hub. - Only needs one large space and atmos fuel tank for all engines, flies for days when half full, easy to refill from all sides. Feel free to ask for a spin in one of these, I am more than happy to discuss the final setup. Cost will be depending on your configuration but we have stock to deploy your personal ship in any. Even with basics it will outperform many ships out there, just out of luxury and because I use it daily, I equipped it with over the top rare military and maneuver grade engines, boosters and hovers and put in a rare optimised XL container too boot. For the most part, Episodes 7-9 were terrible, BUT the places where some us could still find refuge was in the ships, sets, sounds, and heck even I found a FEW moments outside the plot were enjoyable. One in particular was in the beginning of episode 7 where we see this shuttle arrive and Kylo descends the ramp in classic SW badass fashion. Like that ramp everything pretty much went downhill from there.... But despite that I found great potential in this chassis and here it is for your enjoyment - My own take on the Upsilon Shuttle with a fully-flushed interior. This configuration makes a great planet courier: balance between offense/defense, agility, speed, and hauling capacity. Selling an old truck, may have had its best times in the 90s. High mileage some scratches and wrinkles but it got a good polish. The engine isnt leaking oil , smells good and drinks a lot. Brakes ok and 1946 Kl of space for ur smuggler loot isnt bad. Suspension takes up to 4000t, belongs to your driving skills. Repairs are expensive cause its a lot of special parts, actually its in a good condition. one cryo pod is giving red warning light, may need repairs, havent looked into it... ill read the manual that comes with it. K.I.T.T. from Knight Rider, however mine is called Knight Industries Ten Thousand, as it can fly into space! Check it out @youtube: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tMiXeJ96emc I've always liked Knight Rider, so that was my inspiration for this build, it's built after an actual 3D model by using 3D hologram. This ship only serves as personal transport, originally i had xs container on it, but i took it off. You can remove space engines and space fuel tank and turn it into a pocket-rocket. I currently have rare military engines on it and it really flies! It can go from 0 to 500 in like 3 seconds, it's very agile and easy to control, it can do barrel rolls and death loops. if you're not bothered by the looks, you can very easily add more wings and/or engines on it, very easy to modify to fit your needs. you can easily replace hovers with vertical booster if you wanna use it only in space ..etc.
