The plan was to test out how to make a space station about 65KM from the planet. Assuming I'd succeed the idea behind the station was to use it for making fuel and basic scrap without having to land on the planet. So I obviously succeeded at making the space station however, the location was completely wrong for the job. It turns out you need to make the space stations away from where your bases are and stock them with resources you need at those locations. That said it was fun doing it for the first time and the views are super.

I don't like the huge factory blocks at all, so I took an L Core and gave myself free rein in the dimensions and design of the building. From my point of view, the entire core does not always have to be used. It is important to me that buildings fit in well with their surroundings, be it in the city or in the country. The building is an empty shell! Setting up the factory or your office in the building is entirely up to you. putting big L core stations together is fine but when you want to break up the monotony, give this connector module a whirl. Still an L core but a little smaller to add some depth to your modular stations. Features a nice throughfare windowed walkway to transit between cores and also look out over the 10 XS sized landing pads. Tired of hanging your ship in between the mining units every few days you visit your gold mine? Why not land in style on this luxury M-core landing pad? The top is flat for easy landing but below the real magic happens. On a lower deck, connected with two smaller cores your mining units will be waiting for you. Easily accessible with two ramps from the flight deck or by teleporter from the ground below. Be in absolute control as you calibrate up to 15 mining units without moving a single step, and before you leave have three Large containers at your fingertips to gather you hard earned ores. If you feel like getting your hands dirty you can use the access hatch to drop down to the bonus ores awaiting pickup. The newest addition to Terran empires buildings. This is the mining plattform Terran Excavator (TE), that are adressed to the new players. But yet at the same time to the experianced player, who can use it for higher tiers of ore due to the low cost. There are room for two (2) Mining units. and a capacaty of mining storage of 48 KL (With talents), in 4 small containers on the roof. There are also room for two (2) small parcel containers outside, if needed to use the mission system. And ofcourse there are even a resnode, vr station and vr pod installed. And there are still more room for you to add more storage. The "TE" is coming in five different tiers of MU´s.
