**NOTE: THIS PVP/PVE SHIP IS SPACE ONLY, PORTED FROM BETA** As one of the longest serving vessels in the history of the United Nations Navy, the venerable Truman-Class Dreadnaught has protected the interests of Earth across the Solar System for decades. Though not as sleek or sophisticated as her Martian counterparts, the Truman-Class is famed for her sturdiness and reliability, serving as the immovable centre of a UNN Battlegroup through any manner of engagement. Using new and advanced heavy laser weapon systems, the standard Truman-Class may excel in most any situation within fleet engagements or solo missions across the system. Though her acceleration under full load of fuel and ammunition may not reach similar performances as other gunships might boast, the fact that her 6 XL engines are uncommon maneuver models mean she will be able to accelerate and re-align her vector fast enough to still be able to get into range of most any opponent. Ship stats: (stats changed from beta to launch!) - 6 advanced heavy laser L, combined to 1 L gunner seat with an optimal range of 0.86su - can be controlled by a single gunner who may also pilot the ship via remote control. If you are a singleplayer, you can be effective with this ship all on your own - fairly balanced inertia matrix greatly reduces involuntary axis drift during maneuvers - around 8g+ of maximum thrust with the base engines (Uncommon Maneuver Space XL) - around 6g+ of brake force - 8771m³ steel frame, reinforced with 1152m³ gold honeycomb, aswell as 3027m³ silver honeycomb and slightly above 1000m³ decorational interior HC (Lumi Glass, Carbon Fiber, Aluminium) - ship has enough space within its hull for customization (additional cargo containers for example) or for future elements (shield modules, energy reactors etc.) - successfully BATTLE-TESTED against a Russian railboat If you like not having to rely on friends being online whenever you look for PvP content, then this single-seater laserboat in the aesthetic design of "The Expanse" UNN ships might be just for you. While superficially from a distance it still closely resembles the classic shape of the older designs, the retro World War II battleship-inspired characteristics of Leiji Matsumoto have been abandoned almost altogether for something quite dominating and alien. It is far larger at double the size and mass, and much more ridiculously defined and grossly detailed, to the point that the skull-and-crossbones feature a lower jaw, hollow eye sockets, and a spinal vertebrae-like structure extending from it across the middle of the forecastle. Ominous red lighting emits from the underside layers and various holes and vents of the ship, including the eye sockets. Instead of three turrets, there are three rings encircling the hull of the vessel mounted with four cannon turrets each, capable of moving along the circumference to cover up any blind spots. There are three "masts", the last of which a Jolly Roger flag is usually flown from. In the place of wings, there are four bony harpoon-like protrusions that point forwards, with the top two being longer and skinnier than the bottom two. More protrusions jut out towards the stern of the ship, with two culminating in hook shapes, and one resembling a short bony tail. The middle of the ship is seemingly built around a large spherical mass. The vessel has an overall rocky or bony texture across the whole body, with some parts looking as if they were warped or fused onto the ship. Perhaps most interestingly of all, this depiction manages to still retain a semblance of the original bridge and superstructure, even the shape of the wood-like galleon stern remains intact.
