If you don't plan on mining, it can be deleted. The Outpost is built on the top half of a Medium Core. It can be placed with the lower door at ground level, with half the core below the ground to allow for an underground factory. Or the core can be raised up as high as you want, and the lower door and support structure can be copy and pasted to extend it to the ground. In the process of moving, blueprints are available to Kosmos Exchange. New Awesomesauce space station. L core with 1 L core size landing surface and 4 M core landing surfaces below. Small control center in the middle along with walking surfaces that can connect to other cores or remove them if not needed. Tons of storage/indy space available under each pad.
