COMPACT - CAPABLE - EFFICIENT DRM FREE Loaded with Albatross HUD Basic light duty spaceplane, Great for bootstrapping up through ailerons missions or taking care of market runs, orbital hops and jaunts between planets for errands that don't require you to break out the heavy iron. Stats given for the basic engine version, advanced blueprint also available. I am no artist or shipmaker, this is just the culmination of continuous tinkering to my go-to method of getting around. My goal in this game has always just been to cruise around and explore, so the focus of the tinkering has been getting something that flies as well as possible, and I am pretty pleased with how it came out so I thought I would share. It is good for about 50t off of Alioth on the basic version depending on skills. Burn speed is up around 1850 so is pretty forgiving if you come back in to atmo a little hot. Container hub and engines centered on 0,0 so it stays balanced regardless of load. All medium engines so nice and fuel efficient. All a single honeycomb type so feel free to replace with your voxel of choice. Stats are listed for the "basic" engine version which uses pure carbon as the weight reference. Engines also easy to swap out, coordinates in the pictures, though it seems you need to pull the ailerons off to place the engines and put them back on when you are done. Whether you are brand new and looking to upgrade but not ready for the big large engine haulers, or have been around a while and just looking to try something different on the cheap, feel free to come by and check them out. Need a fast and cheap Space Shuttle? Fly to Asteroids in the PvP Zone with the Rascal and ninja some Ore! Its has a max Speed of 48500kmh to outrun any usual PvP Meta Ship chasing you and a very small cross section of only 25,6m³ makes you even very hard to hit while accelerating! A Rare Capacity Shield Generator S will buy you some time to accelerate as well. This Ship is ideal for starting from a Mothership at the PvP Zone Border. I would suggest the ideal load for this Ship would be 140t, wich would be for example around 40kL of Chromite. Dont fly alone, there are 2 additional seats where your friends can take place. If things go bad and you still get shot, its not a big deal because of the cheap building costs. The last word in space elevators. The Caterpillar XL is by far the most proven and validated elevator platform in DU. Tested by the entire DU community through two years of beta. With 300+ hours of "Voxel precision tool" and lua scripting the Turtle II is the ultimate upgrade of an already iconic ship. Designed to maintain off-planet mining sites that are on a 2 week collection cycle. The culmination of my "practice" throughout beta. This ship packs more into it's tight frame than should be possible, with a level of detail that pictures don't do justice, come put your face right up against it. I detailed every inch of this ship, using every trick I've learned along the way and some new ones you may not have seen yet. K.I.T.T. from Knight Rider, however mine is called Knight Industries Ten Thousand, as it can fly into space! Check it out @youtube: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tMiXeJ96emc I've always liked Knight Rider, so that was my inspiration for this build, it's built after an actual 3D model by using 3D hologram. This ship only serves as personal transport, originally i had xs container on it, but i took it off. You can remove space engines and space fuel tank and turn it into a pocket-rocket. I currently have rare military engines on it and it really flies! It can go from 0 to 500 in like 3 seconds, it's very agile and easy to control, it can do barrel rolls and death loops. if you're not bothered by the looks, you can very easily add more wings and/or engines on it, very easy to modify to fit your needs. you can easily replace hovers with vertical booster if you wanna use it only in space ..etc.

Space Only: Perfect for 1-man PVP zone asteroid mining. Park the carrier out of radar range, take the shuttle in for mining and transport ore to the carrier. Pirates get your lander? Respawn back to the carrier and get ore to safety! These ships are intended to be cheap to replace, but powerful enough to get the job done. Overview: The Badger is a multi role dropship, well suited to mining and light haulage. It packs a lot of ability in its relatively small frame. Cargo Lift: The lift generated from the wings is good enough for around 2kt depending on talents and pilot skill. Depending on the engines you chose cargo lift ranges from 1KT up to the maximum of the wings. Containers: There are 2 M and 2 S containers pre-loaded. There is room for a L container in the main hold, placed across the ship behind the hub. The Hub centralises the ships mass and also provides a good indicator of where to place the container. This gives just over 400kL of cargo at max boost. Engines: There are 4 advanced maneuverer engines as standard but these can be easily replaced for more power and cargo handling. The ship can run in a 2, 3 or 4 engine configuration depending what your uses are for the ship and how much weight matters to you. Engine positions for changing out the atmo engines. top left. x -9.0 y -51.0 z 2.5. top right x 9.0, y -51.0 z. 2.5. then the bottom ones directly below Brakes: The M airbrakes in the front grill can be increased in number by re-laying them without any spaces. This will increase braking power but I preferred the grill type look. Fuel: There are 2 atmo M fuel tanks and 4 space M fuel tanks, one tank for each space engine. Cockpit: All lights (Forward, rear and beacon) can be controlled from the cockpit. There is a res node and surrogate station onboard.
