The "Carl Sagan" class of organically shaped ships that provide cargo and VIP personnel logistics. The ship is versatile. The ship has the ability of uncontrolled soft landing. When having reached sufficient height and minimum speed, the pilot could leave the cockpit and she will glide towards the ground and has a smooth touch-down, provided that there are no obstacles in her way (artificial structures, steep cliffs ). She uses XS landing gear to allow easy access. Strong lights provide good sight when landing in the dark. She's at home on hovers, in the air, and in space. It handles well, flies true, stops on a dime, and carries a crazy amount. Easily carries 1.5Kt off of Alioth and I almost got 2Kt with the 10 Maneuver Atmo engines and 4 Maneuver Space Engines. Reentry with 2.5Kt is a breeze with plenty of braking power. Plenty of interior space and access to almost all of the elements from inside. Cargo is 4 Container L's with 716Kl of storage. Shiny, reliable, efficient.....it's still my favorite ship to use! Warp capable and only 30cells Alioth to Madis with empty cargo. The Dragonfly is the result of my first 3 days into Dual Universe. She was designed to lift me off of Haven and to Alioth. Boy, had I known there was rent to be paid, I might have stayed a bit longer. Anyways, the Dragonfly is a reliable and practical ship, biggest I could make her with XS size. She is a hybrid, easily gets you to space and does the Haven-Alioth back and forth trip multiple times before running out of juice. The Dragonfly also comes with a small interior and can be Upped with additional cargo whenever necessary. She is built smart, with maximum maneuverability and ideal weight distribution in mind. And on top of all that, she is pretty. You should be able to build her without the need to purchase anything with an assembly line M and by disassembling the pilot outpost starter base. It can be spawned without things like windows and doors if you don't have them. Basic engines. Its been tested to take a DSAT from Haven with no problems. Anyone that buys this starter version can upgrade to the full version for 500k (1.5m full BP price) once I have them up and running. I upgraded this version for more thrust, lift and brakes to help in early game so those changes need to be retrofitted to the full version once i can print one. The discovery has been my daily driver since beta, it's never let me down. This ship can easily take twenty kilotons out of Alioth's atmosphere. It has twelve large containers and two mediums. The Discovery is an M Core and can haul several smaller ships on her deck. You could put extra containers on the deck as well or just using it as a working platform. This particular ship is the hauler version they're all so is a courier version available. 25 million for the blueprint I think is fair for everything this ship can accomplish.
