Artemis Explorer S Core Multi-Role Hybrid Have a few mining outposts on distant planets/moons that you need to get to and from quickly? Want to hop between the Arkship and Market 12 in a few minutes? Maybe you have a small batch of elements to bring somewhere to be sold. Possibly, you're a hardened explorer on the rim of the solar system scanning tiles for that precious ore, or on a search and rescue mission to recover a damaged ship. Whatever it is you choose to do (except hauling 12 special mission with your alts to Jago), the Artemis Explorer will do it efficiently and with great performance. Personally used for delivery missions, collecting ore from mining outposts and delivering goods to market, the ship was designed to be used for many different roles. Originally fitted with a DSAT, the current layout favors fuel capacity. My first ship build of release. Wanted to get something started and finished quickly and it kind of turned into a longer than expected project. Wanted to share it with the community at a reasonable price considering the time invested. Ship can be seen and BPs purchased at my base on Haven near Market 07 ::pos{0,27,51.6526,22.6413,-0.0001} ----A few notes to keep in mind: -All indicated performance stats are with 48t of fuel (about a 50% load) and 11.4t of cargo (extra fuel and scrap I always carry) onboard. -Tier 3+ Handling Skills currently applied to BP (All Tier 3 plus Tier 4 Atmospheric Element Handling & Tier 4 Container Proficiency) -The main cargo hold is currently configured with 8 S and 2 XS containers totaling 92kl. The secondary cargo hold is 10 XS containers totaling 14kl. There is also one unlinked XS container in the cockpit for whatever. Currently Tier 4 Container Handling skills applied. -Ship is designed for high endurance operations. For normal daily operations run the atmo and space fuel tanks at roughly 50% of their max cap to increase efficiency. -Minimizing frontal cross-section to maximize efficiency was kept in mind from the earliest design stages. -The center "box" can be reconfigured in many different ways to accommodate different mission requirements. Currently, this BP is configured with 4 M space tanks and 2 S containers in the "box." These can be replaced with a DSAT, Territory Scanner, an M container, or anything you'd like, there is a lot of space to use. -The multi-directional space engines are most effective when used with any of the various player made HUDs and autopilots. They make operations in zero-g and on moons a breeze. Also, low and fast orbits around planets are achieved quite comfortably. -Testing of the max cargo lift capacity has yet to be completed. As of now, 520t of cargo with a relatively high level pilot has been taken to orbit around Haven and landed safely. I suspect a low level pilot can take 350t to orbit and land safely, and a high level pilot will be able to lift 450t regularly without pushing the limits of the ship. -Pad on top for docked XS cores -The down facing M space engines help keep a more shallow trajectory upon entering an atmosphere. This helps to prevent stalling at high altitude and allows the ship to glide into atmo quite nicely. -Low sustentation speeds make glide-in landings easy, have yet to test the limits of a vertical brake landing. -Supersonic reentries are possible but not recommended. -Such lights, much switches!

Also, comes with a resnode, and manuevering and reverse space thrusters for precision space landings. Left and right manuevering thrusters uses left and right arrow keys. Up and down uses C and Space Bar, reverse uses the mouse wheel. This is now my favorite ship to fly and I hope it becomes yours as well! If you haven't got valuable cargo to transport, warping is often too expensive to justify. The Bantam is a personal craft for planetary travel, market runs and nanopack-sized purchases, transit between the surface to your space station, or an occasional joyride to a nearby moon. It takes off quickly and accelerates to max speed in seconds. The sleek, low-cross-section profile allows re-entry or cruising in high atmosphere at up to 2000 km/h without damage. Albatross HUD makes piloting a snap. Because it weighs less than 10 tons, it can accelerate to 50,000 kph max speed. On a round trip it will use about half of the XS fuel tank with no talents. Plenty of reserve for emergency turn-and-burn braking if necessary! This little ship is a lot of fun to fly and can get you to any place in the solar system quickly and cheaply. The Standard Edition has Uncommon Maneuver Engines for space and atmosphere, giving it extended range by economizing fuel. Space thrust is augmented by two Advanced Military Space Engine XS. The blueprint has level 5 placement for space, atmo, tanks.

S.H.I.E.L.D. - Strategic Homeland Intervention Enforcement Logistics Division has built the ultimate machine, it's not an aircraft carrier, it's not a plane, it's not a helicopter, it's a HeliCarrier! It's made after the HeliCarrier you see in the Marvel universe movie series, it's also known as Avengers HeliCarrier, but that's just beacuse people don't really follow the story, SHIELD has always been the one who made and owned them. Mine can go into space and instead of primitive fossil fuel engines, it uses alien tech -- ANTI GRAVITY GENERATOR so it can create its very own 0g environment and float without using any fuel! It's not 1:1 copy, it's smaller than the real one as this is the biggest you can build in DU and it's not 100% same looking either, I only based it on it, but it has more "me" in it :-) Interior is designed by me, nothing is taken from the original. I have left some crew quarters empty, so you can make your own designs in there. It's mostly suitable for docking several xs core builds, but I have docked S and M core builds onto it aswell, there's enough room for a proper M core build. I have also tested it with 30kt of cargo and it had no problems .. or well, actually it did a bit. So if you're hauling insane amount of cargo, don't forget that only way it can do this, is by using Anti-Gravity Generator (AGG) and i suggest put about 20-30 more L brakes on it (both, atmo+space), it's not designed as heavy hauler, it's more of an exploration vessel, so you can take your ships with you and enjoy the views. That's why it comes only with 10xL containers, but you can easily put 10 more or fill entire deck with containers if you need to haul.
