The centralized VR station provides instant access to all mining units on the platform without the need to move from the spot. When deploying the platform, make sure the stairs and the voxel square at the bottom of the platform are above the surface of the terrain. This will ensure you have access to the containers if you choose to swap them out. The raised platform and circular arrangement of the mining units allow the bonus ore to spawn in a ring around the construct allowing for ease of access when collecting. The plan was to test out how to make a space station about 65KM from the planet. Assuming I'd succeed the idea behind the station was to use it for making fuel and basic scrap without having to land on the planet. So I obviously succeeded at making the space station however, the location was completely wrong for the job. It turns out you need to make the space stations away from where your bases are and stock them with resources you need at those locations. That said it was fun doing it for the first time and the views are super.

If you're like me, you love Dual Universe and the amazing freedom it gives us to build whatever we want. However, some of us are more inclined to fantasy settings over Sci-fi. Others might just want a change of scenery for some of their buildings. If this is you, then check out Stormsteel's Fantasy Building Kit.
