To sail against the wind direction you have to "cross". - to moor at your pier the auxiliary engine can be used, but only when the sail is down. It is limited to 10% of max thrust. - if you do not have a proper pier yet, you can hover up a bit using the space bar to get the boat on your plattform... (better build yourself a small marina & pier) - the ECU should always be activated/armed. when you leave the helm, this will keep the boat from sinking to the ground. After jumping on your pier, quickly touch the boat to moore it to the pier. - if you find that the boat is unable to stay on the water surface, this is usually some physic bug in the client. just get out of the seat and try again (maybe after maneuvering the boat a bit) BP's will be made available again soon(TM)

The "Not-For-Hire" (some know this name from a great SciFi novel) is a great companion for small- and mid-scale mining operations, and for hauling if you got a lot to move but not as much that a huge, fuel-consuming super hauler would make sense. The colors of the ship are snow white and Martian red. Her modern cockpit has style and gives you an amazing view while you fly. Her strong downward and forward illumination makes you see where you land during dark nights. And her extremely good wing lift gets her airborn with as less as 150 km/h. Also excellent gliding capability for mean stingy captains who want to save on fuel. The ship allows access or exit from five of the six sides, allowing ops where speed is key. She has a forward-facing hangar that can carry various speedboats, mini haulers, or armed fighters. Alternatively, the hangar can be used as forward-facing weapon platform. Dedicated storage for hangar vehicles. Dedicated accessories storage and of course the main cargo containers for freight. She is not meant to cruise alone inside PVP zones, but she still has a shield generator. The strong landing lights can be switched on or off, and also all major light sources inside the ship can be switched on or off. And she offers seating and two "onboard cinemas" for up to 18 passengers, and two additional seats inside the cockpit for 2 VIP passengers. A colossal amount of work went into making it - about 600 hours - most of it spent on voxels (back when we didn't have the vertex precision tool and we had to modify voxels through arcane methods called 'Voxelmancy'). It has a detailed and pleasant interior and a carefully sculpted outer hull. The Vector also has excellent engineering. It's narrow; less that 400m² forward cross section, allowing it to reach speeds greater than 1600kmh in atmo (if you don't mind a few things exploding). It can haul a substantial amount of cargo; designer testing has achieved 1g escape with 5kt of cargo in the standard basic engines model (with maxed buffs and piloting talents). With higher tier military engines, it can lift up to 8kt for a skilled pilot. Volume capacity is 2.3ML(12 L containers), with external attach points for six additional L containers, allowing expansion up to 3.45ML with only a minor increase in forward cross section. The ship also has a strong and balanced adjustor profile, a small hangar for speeders, and a spacious tech bay to add role-specific elements such as a DSAT, large shield, or AGG. I tried to make the best M-core I possibly could, and I'm proud of the Vector.
