Built to maximize performance out of a 500k build budget, These small scouts can be quickly assembled for new org mates, new players, or longtime vets looking for a nimble market runner. But just because the S12 is a starter doesn't mean it's slow or lacking in power and endurance! Basic engines push the Spincat to 1500km/h(after placement buffs and talents), and the ship has been built with easy-engine-swap voxel mounts making replacement with higher tier engines doable in under a minute! A Medium space fuel tank provides nearly 600,000km/h of delta V, easily taking this ship on several asteroid or interplanetary trips before refueling becomes necessary! It is fitted with full 3D maneuvering thrusters for operating from space platforms or low/zero G environs. The Spincat is also ready for external cargo loads! Due to using an S core, the Spincat can easily piggyback additional cargo, or xs core ships <500 tons. Armed with a single xs cannon, S12 Scouts can also serve as training platforms for new pilots to learn the fundamentals of gunnery. If that wasn't enough, the S12 features a robust heat protection system, allowing the ship to cruise around Alioth at 4000-8000km/h in upper atmosphere, and withstand reentries at 6000+km/h with minimal or no damage, making it far and away one of the speediest starters on the market.

It's capable of anti-gravity hovering and has hidden elements, apart from AGG and top elevator that is sticking out a bit, so that you can go back inside! It's almost as long as L core allows, bit shorter, maybe 95% of L core lenght. 20x L atmo engines (8x freight, 12x maneuver) 3x XL space engines (2x maneuver, 1x freight) 20x L containers (room for many more!) most of interior is empty, so you can put whatever you like in there. you can hide entire dsat in the middle part, without it sticking out. aim it towards the engines, so bottom of dsat is against engines. however wings and engines will be problematic if you want to keep them hidden. Tested with 8kt and it had no problems lifting it, however low altitude lift was barely enough, so if you want to lift more than 8kt off the ground, then you need to add some hovers or replace some hovers with vboosters as they give more lift. it's not meant to pickup cargo from ground tho, that's why it has AGG for. If you want it to carry even more, then you can add downwards engines, there's plenty of room for that. you should be able to put at least 30 L-size downwards engines on it.

There is also a S container to store extra scraps / fuel / ammo. Fully fueled ship and all ammo filled will sit roughly at 150tons Advanced Safe Engines L & M and Advanced Military Engines XS can be replaced with basics if low budget. Safe ones allow for shorter warmup which comes in handy for the rare times you actually have to move. Military XS are used as directional engines. DM Deravi#6100 on Discord, currently based out of Haven 14. I made this version after launch to be as affordable as possible. It doesn't inspire in any one category but it drags a good weight across a planet's surface and can lug a little over 100 tons into space at an angle. It works in first and third person views and is made from brick and carbon fibre so it's quite light. It ALMOST fits on an XS core but those foils are a bit tall. Has 2 S containers, 3 XS. A TIE Fighter isn't the most efficient design for a primarily atmospheric ship (those scattered S space engines are just enough to brake gravity and not much else) but it looks great and is very safe and fun to fly.

While superficially from a distance it still closely resembles the classic shape of the older designs, the retro World War II battleship-inspired characteristics of Leiji Matsumoto have been abandoned almost altogether for something quite dominating and alien. It is far larger at double the size and mass, and much more ridiculously defined and grossly detailed, to the point that the skull-and-crossbones feature a lower jaw, hollow eye sockets, and a spinal vertebrae-like structure extending from it across the middle of the forecastle. Ominous red lighting emits from the underside layers and various holes and vents of the ship, including the eye sockets. Instead of three turrets, there are three rings encircling the hull of the vessel mounted with four cannon turrets each, capable of moving along the circumference to cover up any blind spots. There are three "masts", the last of which a Jolly Roger flag is usually flown from. In the place of wings, there are four bony harpoon-like protrusions that point forwards, with the top two being longer and skinnier than the bottom two. More protrusions jut out towards the stern of the ship, with two culminating in hook shapes, and one resembling a short bony tail. The middle of the ship is seemingly built around a large spherical mass. The vessel has an overall rocky or bony texture across the whole body, with some parts looking as if they were warped or fused onto the ship. Perhaps most interestingly of all, this depiction manages to still retain a semblance of the original bridge and superstructure, even the shape of the wood-like galleon stern remains intact. It is now powered with dark matter engines that are hexagonal in shape. The ship is in work in progress
