The Belovator is a lightweight shaftless space elevator that flies along a gravity line to transport your cargo and players into space. You can comfortably transport your assets from the planet surface to a space station without having to rely on an annoying AGG tower with an hour-long ascend or fiddly autopilot ships. Load up with cargo, select the target floor, wait, dock - unload! Belovator XS: - 450 tonnes of cargo lift from the surface of Alioth without any piloting skills/talents - 2x Basic Container M - Advanced Maneuver and Military Engines Stats are for unskilled pilots, cargo lift depends heavily on pilot skills. The lifting capability improves dramatically for a pilot with just lvl 2+ talents on atmo engines. The configuration of the elevator is done via Lua parameters and is limited to a few parameters to keep the complexity simple. It may not look pretty, but it get's your stuff done, and with grace you won't expect from this brute. It can haul up and over 2 kilotons of your stuff up to space from Alioth with a bit of a seasoned pilot, all in a neatly packed optimised XL container. It uses 8 large atmos engines to do that, I personally love the advanced maneuver versions but you could get more done with different if you prefer. It has enough brakes to safely land with your stuff but some caution is advised because it is not meant to bob up and down on it's boosters with 600 KL of hematite weighing down in it's belly. For your convenience it is equipped with a warp core, a resurrection node and a VR pod for when you feel a bit bored. Sweet bumper sticker. No toilet. Careful when flying empty, at full thrust it will incinerate itself into a crisp right after the engines warm up (2 seconds). To prevent accidental deaths and warranty returns, the ship comes equipped with Arch Hud and set to a max atmos speed of 1200 km/s. It's large fuel tanks can take you on a complete tour of Alioth and it's solar system without refueling. A separate container system can hold your warp cells, scraps for accidental scratches and a couple of litres of fuel. On top of all of that it comes with some handy conveniences like 60.000 lumen landing lights to see what you are doing on the surface when landed, if has two laser guidance beams that only come on during flight to save batteries and has all round navigation lights so no space-nub will accidentally rear-end you. Can be turned off for... I don't know. but you can. "USS Langley, (CV-1/AV-3)" - The first US Navy Aircraft Carrier 1920-1942 While this is not a replica of that famous ship, it carries that famous name. The ship has been created as a no-nonsense purpose-built work ship. There are no Deco elements (there is room to add them if you desire), there are no fancy board rooms or lighting elements and plants and frilly things. The total element count is 633. The Langley has a large flat carrier deck that is greater than the size of an M core ship, as such it can accommodate the largest M core ships in the game while they have a full load, and that is what it was built for. While this is not a "Hauler" there are 34 Advanced Optimised L Containers below deck, 4 of them for Warp Cell and miscellaneous storage. There is a massive area "On Deck" to place cargo packs or containers and your favorite ships up to a fully loaded M core. The ship has been tested with 16kt of cargo off and on to a 1G planet it is being rated at 16kt, more than that is the Pilots responsibility. There are 30x Advanced Military atmospheric engines to push this to space, and 4x Advanced Military space engines to get it to max space speed. Space Thrusters are included to make navigation at a space station easy. There is space to add 8 more ATMO Engines if you do not use an AGG. Please take some time to compare the STATS to other ships. Every effort has been made to make the ship efficient and easy to manage. ALL elements on the ship that can be boosted, are boosted to level 5 non-PvP boosts. Black Icarus is my first supersonic heat-resistant ship build, it's cheap to make, but packs a punch! It's designed as fast travel ship as it can do 3000+km/h in atmosphere without taking heat damage. It uses specialized heat shield to prevent heat damage, see it in action on youtube: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Kps0fKjOGPo This ship is good for running your daily errands quickly! It has enough cargo capactiy and lift to be able to carry stuff from/to markets and you can also do some surface mining. it takes 30-60 minutes to fill the cargo with ore when surface mining (depending on areas and talents) and that's something that most people are willing to do and this ship is perfect for those runs, it can circle entire alioth in under 10 minutes. It's not perfect as this was my first supersonic ship and you might break a wing or brake here and there, but just take it easy and you'll be fine. making sudden / sharp turns while going supersonic can cause more damage, so when going supersonic, keep it as steady as possible. I highly recommend custom hud with altitude hold capabilites, because it's most effective at about 1-2% atmo, you can keep throttle at about 10% and it will go 3000+ easily, while barely spending any fuel. I used this ship for my daily errands for a week before i had to refuel. It's rather cheap to build and uses all the basic parts. NOTE - i have NOT tested cargo lift, but based on stats, it should be able to do about 1200 tons depending on talents. I think most i ever did was 700t and it didn't have any issues.
