The Phantom is an M Core Hauler designed to be versatile. It comes with a Large Shield, Warp and plenty of cargo. 6 Large containers and 14 small containers. Civil logistic carrier meant to transport several atmospheric ships of differemt sizes between planets, moons, and space stations. Flat, wide, low bottom to make loading and unloading easy. One cockpit on the left side for all international pilots, one cockpit on the right side for pilots from England and its former colonial countries. :-) Real reason: to keep mass and drag equal on both sides and to provide redundancy systems. Cargohold for warp cells, fuel, and other necessarities. The latest version of the Warp Cell Cost script has been installed - it included the mass of docked ships and their cargo/fuel into the cost calculation! Bed, toilet, shower, sink included. No one likes smelly, stinky pilots. Not even the flies around those. Space for two additional atmospheric engines if so desired. NOTE: Things have changed since the end of BETA. Honeycomb weights differ now. Our advise is, to replace Matte Lithium with Matte (Medium) Gray Plastic, and Glossy Lithium with Matte Dark Gray Plastic. Unburdened by the useless mass of atmo elements, it has a solid ~7g of space thrust and a max speed of about 39,000kmh, which lets it race to asteroids quickly to beat the competition. It comes with only two M containers inside, but there are eight racks on the exterior to attach extra containers - giving it a storage volume of up to 1.7ML. These racks are also a good place to attach other elements, such as a shield. The DSAT is built into the BP, but it's easy to remove and reinsert at will with an indicator for precise placement. There's also a slot for a warp drive at the tail of the ship, but it's optional. - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - NOTES: • The Beltalowda comes with a DRM-free BP of a XS space station so that you can have a place to park the ship when not in use. You'll need another atmo-capable ship to haul the ore down to dirt. • For obvious reasons, don't spawn the Beltalowda in atmosphere. First place a XS space platform or two, then spawn the ship. The platform is DRM free, so you can make a core BP of it after spawning to make more of them. • If you want to convert the Beltalowda into a regular hauler, just remove the DSAT and replace it with 6 L containers, for a total of up to 14 L containers(2.7ML). Recommended max cargo mass is 2000t to keep the thrust above 1g. Listed stats are with level 4 technician/piloting talents and basic elements.
