The Raven was originally built as a S core, with a low cross section to ensure performance was the best possible. Now moved to an M core, it retains all of its S core performance but adds the ability to dock XS and S ships to it, plus it gave the much needed room at the front of the core to finish the design in the way it was meant to be. The result is a ship that you'll find yourself using time and again, a real daily driver, with just the right blend of every day hauling ability, fuel efficiency and practicality. Lift: 11G of High-altitude lift means the cargo weight is really only limited by the amount you want to spend on engines (and can fit in the 4 L containers). With Advanced military engines close to 3KT is possible, depending on talents and pilot skill. Fuel: A L space tank and L Atmo tank are provided, with a M space tank included for some of the vertical boosters. There is a modest interior with room to make it your own and space at the front to place a warp drive. It may not look pretty, but it get's your stuff done, and with grace you won't expect from this brute. It can haul up and over 2 kilotons of your stuff up to space from Alioth with a bit of a seasoned pilot, all in a neatly packed optimised XL container. It uses 8 large atmos engines to do that, I personally love the advanced maneuver versions but you could get more done with different if you prefer. It has enough brakes to safely land with your stuff but some caution is advised because it is not meant to bob up and down on it's boosters with 600 KL of hematite weighing down in it's belly. For your convenience it is equipped with a warp core, a resurrection node and a VR pod for when you feel a bit bored. Sweet bumper sticker. No toilet. Careful when flying empty, at full thrust it will incinerate itself into a crisp right after the engines warm up (2 seconds). This XS core, ultra light orbiter was sculpted entirely using the VPT for maximum style. Designed with fuel economy and basic parts in mind, I set out to make a sleek, easy to acquire ship that everyone can enjoy post wipe. The Luminaris has 1 Medium and 2 Small Atmospheric engines with 4 Small Space engines and has a top speed of 49,000km/h+ in space. Feel the thrill as you drift around celestial bodies and stop on a dime when you reach the end of your intrepid journey. The ship wasn’t built for hauling although 6 Basic XS Containers on a hub are provided for light shopping and carrying around your data items, spare fuel and scrap. I hope you have as much fun flying the Luminaris as I had building the ship. Achieving the tiny form factor without compromising on the elements needed to retain its performance was, in some ways, more of a challenge than on the M core Stiletto I built. The Luminaris comes with Arch HUD by default (made by Archaegeo). On top of that I have chosen to use the Container Monitor open source LUA by Krengus of ASTCO as this is a helpful script for checking weight, fuel and inventory at a glance. Overview: The Badger is a multi role dropship, well suited to mining and light haulage. It packs a lot of ability in its relatively small frame. Cargo Lift: The lift generated from the wings is good enough for around 2kt depending on talents and pilot skill. Depending on the engines you chose cargo lift ranges from 1KT up to the maximum of the wings. Containers: There are 2 M and 2 S containers pre-loaded. There is room for a L container in the main hold, placed across the ship behind the hub. The Hub centralises the ships mass and also provides a good indicator of where to place the container. This gives just over 400kL of cargo at max boost. Engines: There are 4 advanced maneuverer engines as standard but these can be easily replaced for more power and cargo handling. The ship can run in a 2, 3 or 4 engine configuration depending what your uses are for the ship and how much weight matters to you. This will increase braking power but I preferred the grill type look. Fuel: There are 2 atmo M fuel tanks and 4 space M fuel tanks, one tank for each space engine. Cockpit: All lights (Forward, rear and beacon) can be controlled from the cockpit. There is a res node and surrogate station onboard. The Seawing S20 is an Old-Earth Hybrid Heavy Lift Long Range Transport Aircraft. Predating the founding of Seawing Hypersonics, the S20 takes a different philosophy to moving payloads to space. Whether empty or hauling a kiloton the massive amalgam wing's custom tuned aerodynamics do all of the work, enabling a steady climb even with the nose NOT raised above the horizon. The wing itself is capable of safely deorbiting payloads up to 3,500t, providing almost 48MN of lifting force. The ship remains highly agile even while hauling its recommended payload of 800t. Designed as a platform for various modules, the dorsal docking port on the S20 supports the attachment of additional cargo pods, the S10 or S32 Scout ships, a DSAT module, or a Tri Scanner. Featuring two crew positions and two jumpseats, the S20 interior is designed to be cozy and make the most of a minimal floorplan with a workhorse aesthetic. The cockpit view is good to excellent, with effort made in ensuring good visibility at all head angles. Modern S20's have been refit with Moltres™ shield technology, enabling them to withstand reentry and atmospheric cruising speeds that would destroy all but the most advanced of its peers. With the refit shield in place, they are capable of hypersonic cruising speeds of 8000+km/h in atmosphere.
