This is my entry for the 'Build Your Legacy' competition and while I think it fits the requirements I do not like it as much as the speeder I submitted. I think it is mainly due to the colours as I have not built with Tier 1 ore (Except concrete) for a long time so I only really had the colours provided to work with. It does feature a pad for parking your speeder underneath the structure. My favourite aspect of this design was the stands I setup for the mining units.

This mining factory is suitable for 8 Mining Units and 2 M Size Container or 1 L Container for Ore Storage. Build on cheap rescources it can be almost hand-crafted in your Nanocrafter. The blueprint do not contain any Mining Units or Containers. Feel free to place yourself. Get your blueprint at the dispenser. The Terrans are at it again. With the Terran Offworld mining OP, (OmO), you will get a plattform with a custom LUA script. Were you will know how mutch money your tiles cost you a week/12 weeks by adding the quanta they cost. So that means that you have controll on the tile cost out in the cosmos. There are room for 7 L MU´s AND a small manufactering capability, like fuels och convert the ore directly to pures and so on. And the best part is that there are 8 L containers for the ore your gathering, and 1 L container for fuel storage and 2 L containers for other storage. With this large amount of L containers you will not need to travel that often to empty out the ore.

MC Industries presents the Basic Platform S, a multi-purpose S core platform that is designed for low cost and maximal utility while presenting a heavy-duty industrial aesthetic reminiscent of offshore drilling platforms. The tall pillars upon which the platform rests allows for the most flexibility for placement on uneven terrain with minimal terraforming, that a small core would allow. Only tier1 materials are used, so it could be deployed quite soon after launch. It can easily be used as a remote mining platform. Six openings in the floor allow mining beams to penetrate and the raised platform allows plenty of room for ore to spawn beneath the mining units for easy collection. The interior features a display stand with space for two large transparent screens and shelves for placing container hubs, programming boards, detection zones and all the other elements needed to support mining and factory LUA applications. The roof of the structure can be used as a landing pad for small craft with a ladder providing access. You can grow and expand the amenities like LUA and larger containers as Noveans manufacturing capabilities expand after launch.
