Uses 6-7 cells to Madis and Thades, this ship takes inspiration from the majestic Manta Ray and other stingrays of the oceans on our original home - Earth. I will be selling ships I've made along my journey of learning more and more voxelmancy, this one utilizes some nice smooth lines that I learned from an org member. The interior contains a few screens currently with nothing on them. I am hoping to learn some LUA, but for now, they are blank so you may put whatever you want on them. Overview: The Badger is a multi role dropship, well suited to mining and light haulage. It packs a lot of ability in its relatively small frame. Cargo Lift: The lift generated from the wings is good enough for around 2kt depending on talents and pilot skill. Depending on the engines you chose cargo lift ranges from 1KT up to the maximum of the wings. Containers: There are 2 M and 2 S containers pre-loaded. There is room for a L container in the main hold, placed across the ship behind the hub. The Hub centralises the ships mass and also provides a good indicator of where to place the container. This gives just over 400kL of cargo at max boost. Engines: There are 4 advanced maneuverer engines as standard but these can be easily replaced for more power and cargo handling. The ship can run in a 2, 3 or 4 engine configuration depending what your uses are for the ship and how much weight matters to you. Engine positions for changing out the atmo engines. top left. x -9.0 y -51.0 z 2.5. top right x 9.0, y -51.0 z. 2.5. then the bottom ones directly below Brakes: The M airbrakes in the front grill can be increased in number by re-laying them without any spaces. This will increase braking power but I preferred the grill type look. Fuel: There are 2 atmo M fuel tanks and 4 space M fuel tanks, one tank for each space engine. Cockpit: All lights (Forward, rear and beacon) can be controlled from the cockpit. There is a res node and surrogate station onboard. Civil logistic carrier meant to transport several atmospheric ships of differemt sizes between planets, moons, and space stations. Flat, wide, low bottom to make loading and unloading easy. Honeycomb weights differ now. Our advise is, to replace Matte Lithium with Matte (Medium) Gray Plastic, and Glossy Lithium with Matte Dark Gray Plastic. The last word in space elevators. The Caterpillar XL is by far the most proven and validated elevator platform in DU. Tested by the entire DU community through two years of beta. Refined, improved, and perfected. The enhanced version is a visual and structural refresh of the platform. This version uses all basic engines which are not closely packed in for easy upgrades in the future. Set your base station & space station altitude in the Lua parameters, then all you need to do is turn it on and press the button on the on-screen menu for where you want to go. "Valdez V2" Built as a Serious hauling Vessel. The ship has been created as a no-nonsense purpose-built work ship. There are no Deco elements, there are no fancy board rooms or lighting elements and plants and frilly things. Very easy to deploy with alternate color choices. The total element count is 512 as delivered. The Valdez uses 18 Advanced Optimized L containers for Cargo and 2 Advanced Optimized M containers for Scrap & Warp Cells. There are 24 Advanced Military Atmospheric Engines & 4 Advanced Safe Space Engines. It has been tested leaving Sanctuary with 10kt of Cargo (12.6 kt total ship mass). It will surely lift more from a 1g planet but 10kt it what it is being rated at. This is not a build for the Novice player, due to the expense of the elements, however it will fly well in the hands of any pilot. - AGG and Warp drive are built in. - ALL elements on the ship that can be boosted, are boosted to level 5 NON PvP skills. - All listed attributes were taken while in VR so they reflect zero pilot skills, and the ship was dry and empty.
