The "Carl Sagan" class of organically shaped ships that provide cargo and VIP personnel logistics. The ship is versatile. It has a cockpit that can be customized, then there is the passenger area that contains in its current configuration seats for up to 12 VIPs, and then there is its cargo bay which can be configured to hold one or more of the following customer-provided elements: - containers - seats - additional engines - warp drive - scanner - radar This ship, in its original configuration, is a LIGHT-built - mostly lithium, some sodium, small amounts of plastic, but also precious woods. The ship has the ability of uncontrolled soft landing. When having reached sufficient height and minimum speed, the pilot could leave the cockpit and she will glide towards the ground and has a smooth touch-down, provided that there are no obstacles in her way (artificial structures, steep cliffs ). She uses XS landing gear to allow easy access. Strong lights provide good sight when landing in the dark. She's at home on hovers, in the air, and in space. The ship is sold as token, and the sales are limited to a total of 10 ships only to keep her rare. The price is 9 million, but if the buyer provides all materials and elements, the price will be reduced to 7.5 million - a discount of more than 10% and well above the worth of all used elements and materials. Recently I've been asked again and again if I can make my Warp Shuttle available outside of the organization. And here it is. The design is based on Promethean Guard's IVEC Warp Shuttle, but this is a complete rebuild with many design improvements that I personally liked better. Because of the rare engines, it might be a bit expensive for beginners, but through many tests I was able to get the best possible result for myself in this combination. This gives you much better fuel economy and lighter weight, in exchange for slightly less lift. c) Uncommon Military/Freight atmo (50%/50%) and Advanced Freight Space engines. This is to make entry level to this ship more affordable to build. ... but no need to wait for me, you are free to upgrade this ship as you like. Modifications since beta: I've added double the atmo engines, added a few Space Engine Ls, and a bunch of aileron Ms. I also moved space and added atmo radar to the front where they're not blocked. I also added a few other tweaks like adding an extra atmo fuel tank for the new engines, a Resurrection node in the PvP room, a VR station in one of the bedrooms, and more. With the default Advanced Military version, I've personally escaped atmo with 5kT onboard. I have L5 talents for thrust and L4 for all other flight metrics. It'll lift more with maxed talents when you get them! We are purposely keeping the price quite high because this ship will be exclusive. S.H.I.E.L.D. - Strategic Homeland Intervention Enforcement Logistics Division has built the ultimate machine, it's not an aircraft carrier, it's not a plane, it's not a helicopter, it's a HeliCarrier! It's made after the HeliCarrier you see in the Marvel universe movie series, it's also known as Avengers HeliCarrier, but that's just beacuse people don't really follow the story, SHIELD has always been the one who made and owned them. Mine can go into space and instead of primitive fossil fuel engines, it uses alien tech -- ANTI GRAVITY GENERATOR so it can create its very own 0g environment and float without using any fuel! It's not 1:1 copy, it's smaller than the real one as this is the biggest you can build in DU and it's not 100% same looking either, I only based it on it, but it has more "me" in it :-) Interior is designed by me, nothing is taken from the original. I have left some crew quarters empty, so you can make your own designs in there. It's mostly suitable for docking several xs core builds, but I have docked S and M core builds onto it aswell, there's enough room for a proper M core build. I have also tested it with 30kt of cargo and it had no problems .. or well, actually it did a bit. So if you're hauling insane amount of cargo, don't forget that only way it can do this, is by using Anti-Gravity Generator (AGG) and i suggest put about 20-30 more L brakes on it (both, atmo+space), it's not designed as heavy hauler, it's more of an exploration vessel, so you can take your ships with you and enjoy the views. That's why it comes only with 10xL containers, but you can easily put 10 more or fill entire deck with containers if you need to haul.
