Built to maximize performance out of a 500k build budget, These small scouts can be quickly assembled for new org mates, new players, or longtime vets looking for a nimble market runner. But just because the S12 is a starter doesn't mean it's slow or lacking in power and endurance! Basic engines push the Spincat to 1500km/h(after placement buffs and talents), and the ship has been built with easy-engine-swap voxel mounts making replacement with higher tier engines doable in under a minute! A Medium space fuel tank provides nearly 600,000km/h of delta V, easily taking this ship on several asteroid or interplanetary trips before refueling becomes necessary! It is fitted with full 3D maneuvering thrusters for operating from space platforms or low/zero G environs. The Spincat is also ready for external cargo loads! Due to using an S core, the Spincat can easily piggyback additional cargo, or xs core ships <500 tons. Armed with a single xs cannon, S12 Scouts can also serve as training platforms for new pilots to learn the fundamentals of gunnery. Artemis Explorer S Core Multi-Role Hybrid Have a few mining outposts on distant planets/moons that you need to get to and from quickly? Want to hop between the Arkship and Market 12 in a few minutes? Maybe you have a small batch of elements to bring somewhere to be sold. Possibly, you're a hardened explorer on the rim of the solar system scanning tiles for that precious ore, or on a search and rescue mission to recover a damaged ship. Whatever it is you choose to do (except hauling 12 special mission with your alts to Jago), the Artemis Explorer will do it efficiently and with great performance. Personally used for delivery missions, collecting ore from mining outposts and delivering goods to market, the ship was designed to be used for many different roles. Originally fitted with a DSAT, the current layout favors fuel capacity. My first ship build of release. Wanted to get something started and finished quickly and it kind of turned into a longer than expected project. Wanted to share it with the community at a reasonable price considering the time invested. Ship can be seen and BPs purchased at my base on Haven near Market 07 ::pos{0,27,51.6526,22.6413,-0.0001} ----A few notes to keep in mind: -All indicated performance stats are with 48t of fuel (about a 50% load) and 11.4t of cargo (extra fuel and scrap I always carry) onboard. -Tier 3+ Handling Skills currently applied to BP (All Tier 3 plus Tier 4 Atmospheric Element Handling & Tier 4 Container Proficiency) -The main cargo hold is currently configured with 8 S and 2 XS containers totaling 92kl. The secondary cargo hold is 10 XS containers totaling 14kl. There is also one unlinked XS container in the cockpit for whatever. Currently Tier 4 Container Handling skills applied. -Ship is designed for high endurance operations. For normal daily operations run the atmo and space fuel tanks at roughly 50% of their max cap to increase efficiency. -Minimizing frontal cross-section to maximize efficiency was kept in mind from the earliest design stages. -The center "box" can be reconfigured in many different ways to accommodate different mission requirements. Currently, this BP is configured with 4 M space tanks and 2 S containers in the "box." These can be replaced with a DSAT, Territory Scanner, an M container, or anything you'd like, there is a lot of space to use. -The multi-directional space engines are most effective when used with any of the various player made HUDs and autopilots. They make operations in zero-g and on moons a breeze. Also, low and fast orbits around planets are achieved quite comfortably. -Testing of the max cargo lift capacity has yet to be completed. As of now, 520t of cargo with a relatively high level pilot has been taken to orbit around Haven and landed safely. I suspect a low level pilot can take 350t to orbit and land safely, and a high level pilot will be able to lift 450t regularly without pushing the limits of the ship. -Pad on top for docked XS cores -The down facing M space engines help keep a more shallow trajectory upon entering an atmosphere. This helps to prevent stalling at high altitude and allows the ship to glide into atmo quite nicely. -Low sustentation speeds make glide-in landings easy, have yet to test the limits of a vertical brake landing. -Supersonic reentries are possible but not recommended. -Such lights, much switches!

I am pleased with this ship design, which I called Elemental because I designed it to carry ore (elements) back when underground mining was done on planets. I have kept updating it as game updates so it is fully functional to date though the Adjustors need a little tweaking still since there is a small error in placement after one of the updates to item mass. Considering my 'Voxelmancy' is not as good as it could be I am really happy with how this ship looks. The ship is a small Core 1G hauler designed to carry just over 1KT of cargo (about 2.73 KT of weight including its own weight). I have stress tested the landings with about 1.22 KT of cargo but the landings gets a little bit more like a fall towards the atmosphere / space boundary at around this weight. If a lighter materials was used to build the ship then this could probably increase this carry weight a little (the ship is made of solid silver). The ship also has a Rocket engines to give the ship a bit of a kick into space if you slightly overload the cargo capacity or if you choose an angle that is too step to reach space with normal engines. They do have to be used close to the space / atmosphere boundary since the ship has 1 medium Rocket Fuel tank. The ship also features four downward facing atmospheric engines to provide more lift during landing when the ship is excessively overloaded in a 1G environment and coming in for a landing at slow speeds. LUA is required to allow them to be turned off and on to avoid wasting fuel all the time, though I have given these engines their own fuel tanks to avoid stealing fuel from the normal engines. I have engines facing in all directions for space flight with the majority pointing down wards and backwards, the remaining engines really being intended for manoeuvring. The Atmospheric engines point in every direction except pointing downwards since you have gravity to help you out with that direction. The values of Space and atmospheric thrust for this ship are the forward thrust values and not the total thrust values for all directions. I use a small amount of LUA on this ship since making my own interface is on my list of things to do in Dual Universe, currently I only use it for engine controls, to set the desired altitude and extend / retract the landing gear. Max Atmospheric speed is just 20,000 KM/H in space and 1000 KM/H in atmosphere before you start burning up. Lastly it is of made of solid glossy Silver, because when they released element resistances. Silver was the best basic material with resistance to weight ratio, without having to consider making an alloy. To be honest I actually quite like how it looks so I have been built all my ships out of this material.

The Raven was originally built as a S core, with a low cross section to ensure performance was the best possible. Now moved to an M core, it retains all of its S core performance but adds the ability to dock XS and S ships to it, plus it gave the much needed room at the front of the core to finish the design in the way it was meant to be. The result is a ship that you'll find yourself using time and again, a real daily driver, with just the right blend of every day hauling ability, fuel efficiency and practicality. Lift: 11G of High-altitude lift means the cargo weight is really only limited by the amount you want to spend on engines (and can fit in the 4 L containers). With Advanced military engines close to 3KT is possible, depending on talents and pilot skill. Fuel: A L space tank and L Atmo tank are provided, with a M space tank included for some of the vertical boosters. There is a modest interior with room to make it your own and space at the front to place a warp drive. In the cargo hold, there is room for 1 more L container or other utility items should you need it. Stats listed are with basic engines. I will boost any printed BP's free. ENGINE POSITIONS. Space. 1.
