Dual Universe Creators

Phantom is my first M core art build. It's built out of carbon fiber to keep the weight down, but also to give it this cool chromish look. I haven't even made a proper video on it, but here's my first version of it and first test flight: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=A9YNFEVcSoM (on this video it's not complete, it's missing warp and some wings). INTERIOR: cool looking interior, with bridge/cockpit, 2x crew quarters and cargo area. cockpit has switches and lights that will let you turn stuff on/off and lights will indicate what's on/off. fuel tanks are also nicely places behind hatches, which are opened by a switch and lights turn on, in other words, i put some time into designing the interior. one crew quarter is pretty much empty, so you can make your own design in there. FORWARD ENGINES: 12x L basic atmospheric engines and 4x L basic space engines NOTE - cargo capacity and lift are not absolute and are easily modifyable! I made it as art-build, but it performs quite well as hauler. currently it only had 4x L containers, but you can easily easily put more containers. I think you can quite easily fit +6 to 8 L containers into it, so total of 10-12 i'd say. there's also some room for more wings if needed, only problem with heavy loads might be hovers. I have tested about 2000t and it had absolutely no problem lifting it with low level talents (level 2-3). if you have "heavy foot", you might want to put L space fuel tank on it, because i have M only and it runs out quite fast if you're hammering it. with full tank, it's enough to make a round trip from plant to planet, so in other words, it can escape atmosphere twice, but with cargo it might be an issue, so have some extra fuel or get L space fuel tank. You have to land anyway, so i see no harm in refuelling in meanwhile. I'm not very happy with some voxel work outside as there's a bug where voxels look fine in build mode, but when i exit build mode, they twist into something else. it's hard to fix those as in build mode it looks fine, so i don't know what to adjust, but otherwise it's fine.

The Vector has been updated and this is the latest version. With updated engines and rebalanced she flies better than ever. Also did some asthetic upgrades to the body to give it some personality and converted it to lighter materials, mostly carbon fiber and alum. It does now include a AGG setup along with the three scanners with elevator access for quick scanning with out having to land. It also still includes directional engines for use in aligning your self for scanning with out having to turn the ship or re approach. If you haven't got valuable cargo to transport, warping is often too expensive to justify. The Bantam is a personal craft for planetary travel, market runs and nanopack-sized purchases, transit between the surface to your space station, or an occasional joyride to a nearby moon. It takes off quickly and accelerates to max speed in seconds. The sleek, low-cross-section profile allows re-entry or cruising in high atmosphere at up to 2000 km/h without damage. Albatross HUD makes piloting a snap. The Basic Version can be built entirely in the nanocrafter, except for the optional square light and atmospheric radar. Both of those components can be obtained from starter outposts, if desired, as can many more such as engines and adjusters. The blueprint has level 5 placement for space, atmo, tanks. Honeycomb colors can be easily changed now, so go crazy! (purple and green not required) Because it weighs less than 10 tons, it can accelerate to 50,000 kph max speed. On a round trip it will use about half of the XS fuel tank with no talents. Plenty of reserve for emergency turn-and-burn braking if necessary! This little ship is a lot of fun to fly and can get you to any place in the solar system at a fraction the cost of UEF ships.

Many times the design for a ship doesn't need to be complicated to be effective and efficient! The Broken Arrow utilizes a sleek traditional shape and clever positioning for elements resulting in an impressive performance for the ship size. 5 small containers provide an excellent hauling capacity (space to add 2 more for 7 total) - she'll carry more than double her own weight in cargo with power to spare and low cost parts mean this ship won't break the bank if you happen to ding into anything during your adventures. FAST- because the weight is low this ship will do around 50k depending on skills and cargo. LOW COST- Uses basic engines all around (1L Atmo, 4M Space) keep the maintenance and fuel extremely low. This was my 'day one' ship, and still preferred daily choice. MISSION RUNNER SPECIALIST: This setup makes a fantastic mission runner ship for the 'Aileron Parts 180k' run. (Round Trip in 9 Min) . With a few pilot skills this missile can climb straight to space at 90 deg from standstill... is very lightweight so will stop on the dime or pull out of dives very easily. Use the 'Boom and Zoom' technique to loop down onto the mission turn-in before bouncing back up into space. Also makes a hilariously fun kamikaze ship for obvious reasons as well. *Ship Inspiration: One of those movies you watch about a hundred times as a kid, Broken Arrow (1996). Featured a unique plot where an air force colonel tries to steal a nuclear bomb. *Specifications listed reflect upgrades made AFTER initial ship/skills deployment.
