The raised platform and circular arrangement of the mining units allow the bonus ore to spawn in a ring around the construct allowing for ease of access when collecting.

This is an easy to build mining station designed with cheap elements. This station have 6 large extractors linked with a large container to receive minerals. This station is build on a S static core for modular purpose. The blueprint can be find inside a dispenser on Alioth : ::pos{0,2,46.6090,96.4753,134.4049} The dispenser is on the rooftop.
