The Ugly Swan is a medium ship and probably the largest ship I will make in Dual Universe working by myself. This is based on how long it took me to source all the parts (purchased and manufactured). I am please with how it performs as it does function as I intended however, this ship is a great example, of trying to put too much on any one ship and left me with a very small number of choices for arranging the times to fit properly. The functions this ship fulfils are: Warp capable carrier, capable of carrying one small ship on the landing pad and two xs ships in the landing bays on the sides. Though the xs bays do not fit a full size xs ship. Territory scanner ship. Three territory scanners one on each corner. One DSAT for homing in on Asteroids. People transporter with a viewing area (Glass seating area) with a view of space / planet. 1G Atmospheric fight capable Space flight capable. Storage for resources though my really intention was to leave it in space while you shuttle back and forward in one of the docked ships. So the storage capacity is really meant to be on the docked ships. I designed it to carry the Elemental with a full load and carry the xs ships along with the filing its own cargo hold (four times the Elemental's capacity). I have not stress tested this ship, due to time constraints, but I can confirm it can carry the Elemental with cargo in and out of the atmosphere (At least 3.5Kt of cargo). Max speed is speed in space, the max atmospheric speed without burning up is 1000Km/h. The atmo thrust and space thrust values are forward thrust only (I do have thrust in other directions). Also it has four rocket engines because who does not like rocket engines.

Working out the token price finished! 450t out of atmo with good pilot skills (limited by basic engines) 990T out of atmo with upgrades to engines, then its a high altitude lift limit the ship comes with a damage report script and my custom revamp of the default flight script which hides docking and radar widgets and introduces a brake toggle. The Oreweaver uses basic elements but custom orders are available. Landing is not the niblest, but easy for new pilots to handle. Because of rear steel shields, can have minor unexpected weight compared to its full plastic version. If you haven't got valuable cargo to transport, warping is often too expensive to justify. The Bantam is a personal craft for planetary travel, market runs and nanopack-sized purchases, transit between the surface to your space station, or an occasional joyride to a nearby moon. It takes off quickly and accelerates to max speed in seconds. The sleek, low-cross-section profile allows re-entry or cruising in high atmosphere at up to 2000 km/h without damage. Albatross HUD makes piloting a snap. Because it weighs less than 10 tons, it can accelerate to 50,000 kph max speed. On a round trip it will use about half of the XS fuel tank with no talents. Plenty of reserve for emergency turn-and-burn braking if necessary! This little ship is a lot of fun to fly and can get you to any place in the solar system quickly and cheaply. The Standard Edition has Uncommon Maneuver Engines for space and atmosphere, giving it extended range by economizing fuel. Space thrust is augmented by two Advanced Military Space Engine XS. The blueprint has level 5 placement for space, atmo, tanks.

The third iteration of my daily flyer, a monster of a ship strapped to a small core. Easily takes over 2 kT from Alioth with room to spare. Perfect mission flyer and doing all your daily business barring hauling megaton nodes home. A few highlights: - Absurd flight handling. has a great mass balancing and turns like an XS core. Can do flips in mid-air or brake, turn and take off in the opposite direction without a hitch. (see rotation matrix) - Very low profile. Without resorting to angled engines, the front surface is kept to an absolute minimum. Using Seawing's flush wings and carefully placing engines in a staggered formation creates vey low drag. (See max speed, capped at 1250 to prevent burns) - Depending on your final configuration and load, it has a exceptional acceleration and brake force and takes off and lands like an overgrown pocket rocket. 5G thrust empty, drops to 1G at 2200 tonnes - It may not be your taste but I tried my best to cover the elements with voxels and shape something decent out of it. It even has a cockpit which is extremely rare for utilitarian ships like this. - Excellent storage, the bulk of the ship is shaped by the XL container, it provides enough space for anything you want to carry, it will be too heavy before it is full unless you are transporting Lumi voxels. Easy access from all sides by linkes XS containers in the wings and nose. Weight balanced in the rear by the hub. - Only needs one large space and atmos fuel tank for all engines, flies for days when half full, easy to refill from all sides. Even with basics it will outperform many ships out there, just out of luxury and because I use it daily, I equipped it with over the top rare military and maneuver grade engines, boosters and hovers and put in a rare optimised XL container too boot.
