Patriot was built around a M shield however you can swap out for a S shield for speed under full combat load at 21G of thrust. Keeping the M shield will keep your max speed at around 16-17g of thrust depending on T4-5 skills. If cannons are not your thing you can do the same with the shield and opt to replace them with any other weapon of your choice. After 5 other major iterations since beta, the starjumper is my entry into the S core hauler market and is being sold as a blueprint with DRM removed. The starjumper was designed to haul 500t, and has room for one L container in the cargo bay. In testing, I was able to lift 900t to orbit (with rare vertical boosters). Upgrading the elements, it can easily push more than 500t of cargo. Blueprint comes with Advanced Military Atmo and Military Space engines (2 L each). This helps in doing some quick maneuvers. - you can enter your home coordinates in the LUA parameters. when piloting you can then press Shift+Alt*2 to set your homebase as the target destination quickly. - Update 2021.01.03 now all my ships have one more great function. Auto Altitude.. Just fly to the required alt and hit alt+2 to enable altitude hold. use alt3/Shift Alt 3 to increase/decrease target altitude by 100m. Penance is part 2 of my VTOL Series. It is a small core warper meant for carrying yourself and a few others to another planet as cheaply as possible.
