The Raven was originally built as a S core, with a low cross section to ensure performance was the best possible. Now moved to an M core, it retains all of its S core performance but adds the ability to dock XS and S ships to it, plus it gave the much needed room at the front of the core to finish the design in the way it was meant to be. The result is a ship that you'll find yourself using time and again, a real daily driver, with just the right blend of every day hauling ability, fuel efficiency and practicality. Lift: 11G of High-altitude lift means the cargo weight is really only limited by the amount you want to spend on engines (and can fit in the 4 L containers). With Advanced military engines close to 3KT is possible, depending on talents and pilot skill. If you haven't got valuable cargo to transport, warping is often too expensive to justify. The Bantam is a personal craft for planetary travel, market runs and nanopack-sized purchases, transit between the surface to your space station, or an occasional joyride to a nearby moon. It takes off quickly and accelerates to max speed in seconds. The sleek, low-cross-section profile allows re-entry or cruising in high atmosphere at up to 2000 km/h without damage. Albatross HUD makes piloting a snap. Because it weighs less than 10 tons, it can accelerate to 50,000 kph max speed. On a round trip it will use about half of the XS fuel tank with no talents. Plenty of reserve for emergency turn-and-burn braking if necessary! This little ship is a lot of fun to fly and can get you to any place in the solar system quickly and cheaply. The Standard Edition has Uncommon Maneuver Engines for space and atmosphere, giving it extended range by economizing fuel. Space thrust is augmented by two Advanced Military Space Engine XS. Nothing is stacked, she's a fun little beast and balanced well. The design is meant to be more of a replica and is not designed to haul a ton of cargo. We have other Eve ships for that. A very fast podracer I built during beta and have revised slightly since the reset. This is an atmosphere-only ship though you may wish to add a space brake for those pesky accidental takeoffs. This should be considered a novelty ship that is not intended to haul. There is no storage built into the ship itself. With appropriate talents, and basic tier flight elements, you can easily reach 1500 kmh in atmosphere. Without talents, you can still likely reach 1500 kmh, but the ship will likely start to burn up.

The Geo Scanner MK1 is an atmospheric tile scanning S sized core that can rapidly scan tiles. This tri-scanner features three territory scanners that are conveniently arranged for quick access from inside the ship, saving the pilot time from jumping in and out of the hull to operate scanners. Four T2 Uncommon Maneuver Engines L are installed to take advantage of the four second warmup time, which is two times better than the basic engine L. This allows for the Geo Scanner to be quickly deployed to its next location. Large adjusters are optimally placed to give the ship a faster reaction time when lining up the scanners with the three territories being scanned.
