To deal in violence.   This moment calls for them to pick up the tools of war, and to prepare for battle. Then it is a time for the Megalodon!   From the abyssal depths of Captain Miller’s mind arises this 120m long armored behemoth. It is an instrument of retribution. It has been created to let haulers, miners, and business people bite back at those who target them!   It screams in an ancient, prehistoric, voice “stop hitting me Devon!..,” (Captain Miller has never confirmed who Devon is!).   Born of political necessity when The Guild of Merchants and Haulers threatened to boycott delivery of ore and essential goods until their pilots were adequately protected.   When word of this reached the ears of a conglomerate of Helios's finest leaders, known as the Council of Business And System Traversal Advisors, Regulators, and Directors, they knew they had to act!   The Council quickly ruled out paying to establish a Helios Sector Police Force or restricting arms sales throughout the system – as both were deemed bad for business and potentially expensive! Instead,  the Council awarded a multi-billion Quanta contract to Captain’s Customs for the development of Hauler capable of fighting its own battles! Once he was done counting the suitcases of Quanta, Captain sequestered himself into his design office, stared at an aquarium in the corner for a week, jumped up, and screamed “Shark!”   What emerged from this process was a monstrosity – The Megalodon. With 7XL Expanded Containers and an M AGG, it is a hardcore hauler. Star Wars Inspired Build. Vigil-Class Corvette Produced by Kuat Drive Yards for the Imperial Navy, the Vigil class was considered the smallest vessel in the iconic Star Destroyer line of ships. Though in DU she is a hauler class ship. She can be converted with weapons. She come with 6 Container L's, 6 Advanced Atmo Military Engines, 1 Uncommon Space Maneuvering Engine XL, Warp drive and XS Shields. Easy accessible areas to repair damaged components. Vigil is boosted with 4,5 talents. I have personally gotten a Very Large Package off of Alioth so i know she can do those missions. I hope you enjoy this ship as much as i have enjoyed building her. The Ugly Swan is a medium ship and probably the largest ship I will make in Dual Universe working by myself. This is based on how long it took me to source all the parts (purchased and manufactured). I am please with how it performs as it does function as I intended however, this ship is a great example, of trying to put too much on any one ship and left me with a very small number of choices for arranging the times to fit properly. The functions this ship fulfils are: Warp capable carrier, capable of carrying one small ship on the landing pad and two xs ships in the landing bays on the sides. Though the xs bays do not fit a full size xs ship. Territory scanner ship. Three territory scanners one on each corner. One DSAT for homing in on Asteroids. People transporter with a viewing area (Glass seating area) with a view of space / planet. 1G Atmospheric fight capable Space flight capable. Storage for resources though my really intention was to leave it in space while you shuttle back and forward in one of the docked ships. So the storage capacity is really meant to be on the docked ships. I designed it to carry the Elemental with a full load and carry the xs ships along with the filing its own cargo hold (four times the Elemental's capacity). I have not stress tested this ship, due to time constraints, but I can confirm it can carry the Elemental with cargo in and out of the atmosphere (At least 3.5Kt of cargo). Max speed is speed in space, the max atmospheric speed without burning up is 1000Km/h. The atmo thrust and space thrust values are forward thrust only (I do have thrust in other directions). Also it has four rocket engines because who does not like rocket engines.

The Horizon XL Bigger, Better, Meaner Success is a terrible burden. The Horizon is the benchmark. The Ship that all others are measured against. Since it rolled off the production line, it has defined a generation of haulers and occupied the fevered dreams of a would-be industrialist from Sinnen to Feli. How do you improve on that?.... Well... you do the same thing again but bigger, better, and meaner. More engines, more containers, more guns! And add an AGG and a Safe Room. You release the Horizon XL. Legend has it that upon awaking from a Warp Ale fueled catatonia, Captain Miller stumbled into Captain’s Customs design suite, pointed at the Horizon’s schematics, and screamed “it needs more cowbell!”. Once Captain’s shipwrights had calmed him down and worked out what the heck he was talking about – the project to upgrade the Horizon was born. The equation is simple, really. Take the Horizon and make it more... Horizon-y?. The result. A ship that will take 13+ KTs to orbit without breaking a sweat. A ship that will burst the eardrums as the engines spool up. A ship that will give those pesky pirates a really, really bad day if they look at it funny. This is the Horizon XL, and it means Business. Penance is part 2 of my VTOL Series. It is a small core warper meant for carrying yourself and a few others to another planet as cheaply as possible. The "Boar VarHC Mk I" is a hybrid S Core Hauler for interplanetary flights. This version does not have any Vertical Booster. The Interior is kept simple, the containers and fuel tanks are all accessible at one place. It can lift ~500t off of Alioth, for unskilled pilots and with Basic Elements. With high skills and Elements it can lift off more than 1.8 kt. The ship contains: 2x Basic Container L 3x Basic Atmospheric Engines L 2x Space Engines L Atmo and Space Radar Surrogation Pod Resurrection Node You can look at the ship in the Surrogate VR "LUF Showroom".
