The Tumata is the Industrial Flagship of Golden Oak Industries! Inspired by Tūmatauenga - "Tūmatauenga (Tū of the angry face) is the primary god (atua) of war and human activities such as hunting, food cultivation, fishing, and cooking in Māori mythology." Equipped with Four Extra Large Space Engines, Tumata has excellent space acceleration and handles easily in Atmos as well. Capable of lifting upwards of 2.5Kt of Cargo from Alioth (more on lesser gravity worlds.) All Doors/Hatches and Gates can be controlled at the individual door locations AND from a control panel on the bridge next to the command chair. There is plenty of information display room including 3 Large Transparent Screens in the cockpit plus an additional cluster of smaller screens available to the Pilot with controls for all systems. Unburdened by the useless mass of atmo elements, it has a solid ~7g of space thrust and a max speed of about 39,000kmh, which lets it race to asteroids quickly to beat the competition. It comes with only two M containers inside, but there are eight racks on the exterior to attach extra containers - giving it a storage volume of up to 1.7ML. These racks are also a good place to attach other elements, such as a shield. The DSAT is built into the BP, but it's easy to remove and reinsert at will with an indicator for precise placement. There's also a slot for a warp drive at the tail of the ship, but it's optional. - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - NOTES: • The Beltalowda comes with a DRM-free BP of a XS space station so that you can have a place to park the ship when not in use. You'll need another atmo-capable ship to haul the ore down to dirt. • For obvious reasons, don't spawn the Beltalowda in atmosphere. First place a XS space platform or two, then spawn the ship. The platform is DRM free, so you can make a core BP of it after spawning to make more of them. • If you want to convert the Beltalowda into a regular hauler, just remove the DSAT and replace it with 6 L containers, for a total of up to 14 L containers(2.7ML). I Made this ship to fly the biggest DELIVERY F8 Missions.... You can deploy this ship and fly with no skills - its a little hard to get off Alioth with the largest 1.8kt package and requires the need to ascend in levels to prevent stalling. So far it has been tried and tested on many missions for huge profits. Is it worth it? Well YES! but how much is it going to cost. I've done an analysis of all the prices of all the parts at Alioth Market 6, and the breakdown is as follows. If all products are bought at the bid it will cost 6.32 million h. If all products are bought at the mid then it will cost 8.32 million h. Lastly if you smash the BUY NOW button and just take the asking price it will cost 10.33 million h. These figures were priced 10/26/22. The following are stats were taken with a fully loaded 1.8kt 7.5m mission package. Features: - accurate simulation of wind, waves and the sea - sails settable by "G" key in 4 levels Shift+G reduces Sail surface by 1/4 - 2 steering options either you can steer with a non centering rudder or with A/D controls similar to how other constructs are being steered. Switch during operation by pressing "Alt+1" - engine limited to marina use (when sails are down). thrust Limit applies(max 10%) - extensively tested on the seas of Alioth (other planets might require adjustments, contact me for assistance) - Wind (&Rudder) Indicator (visible for the helmsman) - configurable sail texts & colors (see LUA parameters) - HoverEngine Technology allows almost infinite fuel autonomy - the Levante is compactable, so take it on your next vacation by the sea ;-) Blueprint Instructions: - there is one manual step required after setting the BP. go to build mode and right click the backward facing hover engine. under Advanced=>"disable thrust along gravity" has to be selected for the backward facing hover engine - if you want to have the original light colors, set back left to "255,0,0" and back right to "0,255,0" front light: enable blinking and set on duration to 0.1 This could be used for Regattas as well, as the speed is defined by the skills of the skipper and his/her ability to find the best course for maximum performance Some "sailing tips": - the speed you can reach depends on your angle towards the wind. the faster you go the more "heel" you will get and the more active correction of your course will be required to stay on a straight line. - It is not possible to sail directly into the wind. To sail against the wind direction you have to "cross". - to moor at your pier the auxiliary engine can be used, but only when the sail is down. It is limited to 10% of max thrust. - if you do not have a proper pier yet, you can hover up a bit using the space bar to get the boat on your plattform... (better build yourself a small marina & pier) - the ECU should always be activated/armed. when you leave the helm, this will keep the boat from sinking to the ground. After jumping on your pier, quickly touch the boat to moore it to the pier. - if you find that the boat is unable to stay on the water surface, this is usually some physic bug in the client. just get out of the seat and try again (maybe after maneuvering the boat a bit) BP's will be made available again soon(TM)
