There is space and power to increase cargo capacity if desired but it was decided to stay with a 75% rule for ratings and handling. Can achieve 1500 in ATMO with skills and with out burning elements if traveling in a flat straight line. The Archego HUD has been set to a limit of 1175 to protect un-skilled pilots, this can be changed at your discretion. I've built a market runner/small hauler, that looks like a container. :P It's 150% the size of an Expanded Basic Container XXL, so it's nearly as long as a full S core. It will take 1.5 kT without problems, and if you have decent piloting talents, its should also handle 2 kT. I've personally taken 2.25 kT of cargo into space without difficulty, with level 5 buffs and level 4 piloting talents. See stats on the last picture.
